Let me ask you a few questions in order to answer your question:

    1. Do you believe Jesus always has been and always will be God? Yes or No?

    2. Do you believe that Jesus stopped being God on the cross? Yes or No?

    3. Is Jesus a different God than the God of Exodus 12?

Here you are and you make a terrible err. He took a body of flesh made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death. He may of been God inwardly but not outwardly for I do not believe God can die. and no that was not God hanging on the cross.

That was Christ, Jesus was when He took a body of flesh for the suffering of death for our sins and as Jesus He killed no one. You still do err greatly.

I would phrase it as it is in John 1 and say that the Word was God from the beginning.

    Most definitely.

    Not at all.

    Yes.

I would say that Jesus as a distinct person in the Trinity did kill.
I would say that Jesus as God incarnate did not kill.

This is the mystery of the Trinity that we believe by faith.

So, Jesus ceased to be God when he was on the Cross? Is this correct?

"21": And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

He was God the son in the flesh a part of the Trinity and not God the Father.

Hey all, these are the words of Jesus. What do they mean to you?

Mk 13:32*But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Why, if Jesus is God incarnate would he say there are things he doesn't know?

Oh, but it was not Jesus back when the killing was going one. He became Jesus when born of Mary.

So you don't believe Jesus was God, correct?

Brother Bob, I'm a little confused by your statements myself.

You do believe that Jesus and Christ are the same, right? The incarnated Jesus was not in the OT but Christ was - he just wasn't incarnated. Is that what you are saying?

And do you believe that Jesus was always fully God while on earth?

    Jesus is God the son.
Answer LeBuick's question that no one knows that hour not even the son but only the Father.

Marcia, I believe they are the same but He was not in the flesh until He was called Jesus. You ever see Him called Jesus in the OT?

He was God the Son. How could the Father know the hour the end would come and not the Son. How could all judgement be given unto the Son while He was Jesus. How could he be granted the right to sit down on the right side of the Father.

Is God the Son different from God the Father and God the Holy Spirit? What are the differences and what do you make of the statement where Jesus said that he and the father are one? Are you promoting the idea of three gods? What are you saying?

I didn't say Jesus was called Jesus in the OT - I was confused because of what you said earlier and was just trying to clarify. :wavey:

Do you believe that Jesus was fully God while on earth?

I agree with you here Brother Bob. we did not know him as Jesus until he was in the flesh, but he has always been and was always God.
