Did Oxford University Press follow the text of its own 1769 Oxford edition in the KJV editions it printed in the 1770's?

While Cambridge University Press seems to have adopted and followed mainly the text of the 1769 Oxford in some of its editions printed in the 1770's, Oxford does not. After examination of editions printed at Oxford in 1770, 1772, 1773, 1774, 1777, 1778, it seems that Oxford continued to follow mainly the 1743/1762 Cambridge standard in the 1770's instead of its own 1769 edition. The same printers at Oxford that printed the 1769 edition printed the editions in the 1770's. Even KJV editions printed at Oxford in the 1780's still have some pre-1769 renderings. Oxford editions printed in the 1790's and even a small Oxford edition printed in 1804 still have some pre-1769 renderings.

Does anyone know why Oxford seems to have been slow in adopting the text of its own 1769 edition in its later KJV editions?

Many of the distinctive renderings of the standard 1762 Cambridge edition were found 19 years earlier in the 1743 Cambridge, and they are also in several of the Oxford editions printed in the 1770's.

Here are some examples where Oxford editions printed in the 1770's follow the 1743/1762 Cambridge or other Cambridge editions.

    in the judgment (1772, 1773, 1777, 1778, 1783 Oxford) (1853, 1854, 1855 ABS) (1842 Bernard) (1851 Cone)
