No. It's the basic libertarian position on that issue. It certainly beats the pro-choice position of groups like NARAL.

Regardless of Rice's position on abortion, I would not vote for her for President; I would however vote for Hillary Clinton.

For Ms. Rice to have a snowballs chance in
blue blazes she needs a solid block of evangelical
help and votes as it stands she does not have it.

She has soooooooooooooo many incompetent statements that will haunt her the rest of her days.

One of the worst boners in modern day American History and it has to do with our National Security.

"No one (in the administration) could have imagined the use of commercial airplanes as missiless"

She later changed that to "I" which makes it worse
    for her and her incompetence.

but lets review again, what she said on Tim Russert and it reveals an attitude of someone
who does not want the job and if she was to talk
the way she talked on Russerts show in a job
interview she would not get a job either.

MR. RUSSERT: Before you go, I'd like to read something from The Washington Times. Headline: "Americans for Rice, a group that hopes to draft Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice as a presidential candidate in 2008, has paid for a 60-second ad to run in Des Moines, Iowa, on Tuesday night during ABC's `Commander in Chief,' a new show about a female president of the United States. Iowa, of course, traditionally holds the first presidential contest, a caucus system. The same ad appeared in New Hampshire...during the Sept. 27 broadcast of `Commander in Chief.' New Hampshire, of course, traditionally holds the first presidential primary."

Would you accept a position on the Republican ticket in 2008?

SEC'Y RICE: Tim, I'm flattered that people think of me in that way, but I think it was on your show that I said I don't know how many ways to say no. I really am--I'm not somebody who wants to run for office, haven't ever run for anything. I don't think I ever ran for high school president. And I think I'm doing what I need to do, which is to try and promote American foreign policy and American interests, the president's democracy agenda at an extraordinary time. And to the degree that I can do that across the world, that's what I'd better keep doing.

MR. RUSSERT: So you absolutely will not accept a position on the ticket in 2008?

SEC'Y RICE: Tim, I don't see it--I don't know how many ways to say no.

    MR. RUSSERT: So no?

SEC'Y RICE: Tim, I don't know how many ways to tell people that this--I have no interest in being a candidate for anything.

MR. RUSSERT: Well, but no interest is different than no, absolutely no.

    SEC'Y RICE: No.

MR. RUSSERT: Should they stop running that ad?

SEC'Y RICE: Tim, again, I appreciate and I'm flattered that people think of me in those terms, but it's not what I want to do with my life. It's not what I'm going to do with my life.

So its no and no an no...and I am not a leader
type talk...perhaps she does not want her personal
life book opened wide open and it is her right
to have a private life and how she lives it whether it be hetero or homo.

So what we have is... not a solid block of support from evangelicals...incompetent acts....and her
    personal life?

Does not look good..but people will try their best
to put lipstick on anything they can get a hold of
    because they believe the hype.

Disclaimer: do not care if she is purple, blue, or
    pink she is incompetent. imho

Yes, perhaps she can do a Ferrante and Teicher routine with Lauren Green...they could go on the
    road together.

Hit the Muslim circuit...Mosques have great acoustics. ;)

    From the conservative NYDN

Condi and Lauren to get together?

Rice is urged to be 'Friends' (or more?) with Fox anchor

Interviewer James Rosen encouraged Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and 'Fox and Friends' co-anchor Lauren Green, who share a hobby as concert pianists, to get together.
An interview with Condoleezza Rice turned bizarre last week, when Fox News correspondent James Rosen appeared to try to fix her up with "Fox & Friends" anchor Lauren Green.

The former Miss Minnesota is "single" and "beautiful," Rosen said, encouraging the secretary of state to get in touch. The Sept. 27 interview from Port au Prince, Haiti, started out seriously enough, with Rice expounding on Haitian elections and security, and on Iran as well. But at the end, Rosen popped a wheelie, and the discussion, posted on Radaronline.com, ended thusly:

ROSEN: "All right. I close with a gift for you. You met this person once, I believe, but you really, I think, ought to know each other because this woman is, I think you'll have an interest in knowing her. She is one of our Fox News anchors in New York. Her name is Lauren Green. She is brilliant, she's beautiful, she's African-American, she's single and she's a concert pianist in her spare time.

    RICE: My goodness.

ROSEN: And she asked me to give you her CD, and I promised her that I would.

    RICE: That's perfect.

ROSEN: And here's her doing a number of different classical pieces.

    RICE: Well, that's special.

ROSEN: So there you have it.

RICE: Thank her very much, and I look forward to seeing her sometime.

ROSEN: All right. She's going to want to hear from you.

RICE: And maybe even play dual piano sometime.

Just so you know, Rice has been accompanied to state dinners by NFL chief of football operations Gene Washington, who maintains the two are "just friends."

When asked if Green is a lesbian, a Fox News spokeswoman said, "I don't know."

The lovely Lauren is on the right.

"Hey, play misty for me" ;)

That is an out and out smear. I hope a moderator deletes your smear. If I was a moderator I would you ban your from this board immediately.

You continually try to smear people with charges of homosexuality, ASLANSPAL. You rarely ever deal with anything of substance on this board. I think you fit the definition of a troll.

Ken for the record the link is from a conservative
news organization ...sooooooooooooo get over it!

Go cry your 40 year old virgin eyes out somewhere else and while your at it put up your true colors
(confederate battle flag) can't wait to see you
greet Condi at an Airport rally with that one!

I need to write a little skit...KenH meets Condi for the first time.

She does not have what it takes...she has a very
private personal life for some reason which is fine ..but some of it spills out and evangelicals
probably are not too beholden to it...my goodness
I left out her shopping fetish in times of disasters.

So write the owner of Fox new ...Rupert Murdoch if
you want to cry like a big baby because your perfect candidate is not quite what she seems.

She messed up with the Ramadan dinner ..she messed
up with her incompetent statement about the 9/11
attack...she messed up with Iran courting Iraq without a word being said...3 weeks worth.

She was shopping for high dollar heels during
    Katrina.

Push comes to shove she is pro-abortion.

So get over it...you are promoting her with a
lot of hype and smoke and mirrors.

Now to be fair to her ..if she was to leave the
bush white house now ..she might have a slim
    chance...since incompetence loves company.

Just the Ramadan glorification by her ... has sunk
    her imho.

Did Rice hurt her chances with evangelicals?
    Choose 1
No, it is her job as chief diplomat 57% (8)

Yes, as an evangelical I see better uses with my tax dollars 43% (6)

Neither, I would like to express an opinion 0% (0)

Now everybody knows she needs a solid block of
evangelicals to win...she does not have it.

The Republican instinct for being a perpetual minority will triumph with the nomination of Rice, who is clearly unqualified to be President.

I don't recall ever hearing anything about Condi Rices husband. Does anyone know if she is married, divorced or single?

    Which what?? State, or root?

Seriously, any evangelicals who would be damaged by this were damaged long before she came along.
