    But at the point mentioned in John..Jesus had already died and rose again!

    Right but you seem to have missed that Jesus had to leave in order to sent the Holy Spirit. Thus they may have been saved, i.e covered with the blood of the Lamb, but not indwelt from when Christ died to Pentecost, and they could not have been indwelt before the ascension to Pentecost. As I said, to take it further is to engage in speculation. It seems safe to conclude those who had died, like the outlaw on the next cross, and perhaps all the Old Testament Saints, were spiritually placed in Christ the day Christ died (for today you will be with Me in Paradise) but to say more is to skate where scripture provides no ice.

    Ok, this is where I am having trouble....What did they receive in John when He breathed on them?
