what do you mean "war against God"? there are many who go to Church every week, who are not saved, but not at any "war" with God, or else they won't be there!

I already have. You read "not knowing good from evil" and somehow equate that with sinlessness even though that is NOT what the passage says. This is a go-to for you, eisegesis.

Notice they do not enter unless God chooses to open the gate to them.

Van, there is overwhelming scriptural evidence for God ruling in the process of salvation.

You address your pretext and then desperately look for prooftext.

Someone who knows what they're talking about could answer in 25 words or less.

In Romans 9, a child of God is one who has entered a union with Christ. IOW, saved.

Romans 9 is absolutely about election to salvation.

Luke 13:23 does not mention God needing to open the gate. So a totally fictitious claim.
Did anyone say God does not rule in the process of salvation? Nope - so yet another implication of falsehood.

Lol, yes they have, but you ignore it and avoid the questions. And that's why I generally stay out of Cal vs Noncal debates.

It always boils down the question on the part of the noncal, Why doth He yet find fault? It is ever and anon the cry of the carnal mind, the noncalvinist.

I will say you did bring something new to the debate, though: copious, empty verbage. Your posts are the Winnie the Pooh of the noncalvinist array: just stuffed with fluff.

    Your myopia not withstanding...

    Luke 13:22-30
He went on his way through towns and villages, teaching and journeying toward Jerusalem. And someone said to him, “Lord, will those who are saved be few?” And he said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the master of the house has risen and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, open to us,’ then he will answer you, ‘I do not know where you come from.’ Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’ But he will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of evil!’ In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God but you yourselves cast out. And people will come from east and west, and from north and south, and recline at table in the kingdom of God. And behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”

God's word is sufficient to teach you.

Again, you misunderstand both Calvinism and what the bible teaches on this issue!

No, as both of them clearly affirmed that the lost person does not seek after the Lord, and Paul added that the natural person cannot receive the things of God until saved!

Repeating the bogus claim over and over is all they have. They say no one seeks, and then when faced with many folks seeking they move the goal post. Obfuscation on display.

Paul states that while in the lost state, we are at war against God!

Any brain dead empty suit can claim others do not understand, but everyone should know the claim is really waving the white flag of surrender.

I address with truth from scripture the Calvinism presented in published documents. So the ploy of denying Calvinist doctrines (TULIP) simply demonstrates a lack of candor of its defenders.

The T is bogus, Luke 13:23
    The U is bogus 2 Thessalonians 2:13
    The L is bogus 1 Timothy 2:6
The I is bogus Matthew 23:13

    The P is valid, OSAS

No one seeks after God when sinning, and therefore we are all under sin.

Yet another claim without evidence, how about the verses cited prove the TULI of the Tulip are unbiblical. That is the claim of scripture.
