    What is the Bible? The Bible is the written Word of God, for it is written about and by the Word of God, Jesus. God used men who were inspired (God breathed upon) by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is about Jesus from the first to the last book and He is called the Logos, the Word and He is God. Therefore, when somebody asks me if I believe in the Bible my answer is, "I do." Period. Now, I don't very much care about translations (back in Hungary we only had one, it was called the Károlyi Gáspár translation and it was put together before the KJV). Here in the States they differ, there are so many translations. But I was not referring to translations, I was referring to the Word of God. :type:

    Amen, Brother Barnabas J. Halo -- Preach it!

    Your two statements appear to me to contradict
    themselves: the first saying You believe the Bible;
    the second saying You don't believe the Bible.

    I believe that each translation of the Bible of merit
    individually contains and collectively are
    the inerrant Written Word of God.

    Not at all. What I tried to elude to was that the many translations resulted in a senseless fight among believers to discredit each other's choice of Bible translations. I also believe what you have said below....
