Displaying diplomas seems like this is something of a trend of the past. Are there any good reasons to display a diploma in one's office? Just wondering what your take is on this.

I don't display mine in my church office.

I keep them up in my home office.

I worked very hard for my diplomas and proudly display them along side my ordination and license certificates.

Mine are rolled up and stored in a filing cabinet. I will display my diplomas by my actions whilst preaching or teaching. I don't mind others displaying what they earned wherever.

    Cheers,

    Jim

I hang mine, but I work in a collegiate environment where this is the norm.

I like seeing the pastor's diploma(s) or anyone else's for that matter. Its a sign of determination, hard work and accomplishment.

I do not display my ordination papers, I have always said that if God has called me then I do not need papers to show it, but only the work of God in and through me.

My Diplomas are still in the original package, as they came when they were sent to me. I probably will display them one day, but not today.

I display my ordination certicicate, many military certificates, pictures and ect from my radio days to name a few. I am proud of those accomplishments.

On the other hand I have no problem if someone chooses not to.

If one has to hang paper to prove their credentials something is wrong.

Never thought about it. Never felt the need to display them. Only things hanging on my office walls are mission life mementos and a whiteboard. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure where they are- LOL!

Certainly a paper hanger would have to hang paper to prove his worth wouldn't he?

Flip side for me. I figure most folks don't care where I graduate from; not to mention, I don't have much room and I would rather hang pictures.

But, quoting salty (kinda): I have no problem if someone chooses to.

Well, it is like wearing military medals. Only military people know what they mean!

    Cheers,
