God reveals himself to us through His Word....but surely not exclusively...there is Natural Revelation...thats another way that God speaks to us...thru his creation...not just his written Word....anyway my point is i believe that God can reveal things to us thru dreams...you just have to have wisdom in discerning if God is truely the source of the dream.

I am fascinated by dreams because I have many
memorable ones which are highly active, vivid,
colorful, and, most of all, entertaining. I do accept
that many of my dreams are my subconscious
accepting and dealing with every-day things, and
I keep a dream diary of my most outstanding ones.

Many of my dreams have helped me come up with
solutions, like the time when I could not figure out
how to put the zipper in a pair of pants I was
sewing. The solution came in a dream, and I was
able to get up the next morning and put it in without
a problem! I had worked over them for about three
hours the night before without success!

I have had outstanding dreams since I was a child,
and as a result, I believe that there are rare occa-
sions when a dream will reveal my spiritual state,
especially after a major victory in our Lord or
during a difficult spiritual time. However, when
such things have been brought up on other
boards, I have never seen so many crazies and
nut-cases in one place, within the time of five or
six posts to the thread!! I have not yet seen any-
    thing like that here.

I think that dreams must be dealt with, with com-
mon sense. Some of them are highly entertaining,
so enjoy them, laugh, and go on. Some are re-
peated, so pay attention to them. Some have
images that will not go away, so keep thinking
about them and deal with them, because there is
a reason for that. Some are haunting; write them
down and think about them for a while--there
    may be something to them.

One mistake I used to make about my more seri-
ous dreams was to think that since the dream
came from my subconscious, then it must be true.
Not so. A dream is only the product of the mind
it comes from, unless it is truly a gift from our
God, and then, if one things it is from our God, it
must perfectly agree with our God's laws and
personality. No violation of these is a dream
    from our God.
