What I mean is make it personal to you?
For example when I had cancer I did that with Psalm 121.
Here is the Psalm as David wrote it. (Translated of course):
To feel it more real to me here is how I said it.
Psa 121:1 <A Song of Ascents.> I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: from whence shall my help come?
Psa 121:2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
Psa 121:3 He will not suffer my foot to be moved: he that keepeth me will not slumber.
Psa 121:4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
Psa 121:5 The LORD is my keeper: the LORD is my shade upon my right hand.
Psa 121:6 The sun shall not smite me by day, nor the moon by night.
Psa 121:7 The LORD shall keep me from all evil; he shall keep tmy soul.
Psa 121:8 The LORD shall keep my going out and my coming in, from this time forth and for evermore.

    Do you do something similar?
