With all the stuff we see, even on tv, that puts christianity in a bad light..... I don't think this whould even raise an eyebrow to most..... It doesn't really supprise or shock me. And who knows maybe the quilt over penning this will someday turn to repentance to the drawer...

I think that we need to be engaged in the culture. Paul at Mars Hill found offence in the unknown god and turned it in to a witnessing opportunity

Maybe we should hang the "cartoonist" in the manner depicted??? :D  [IMG]

Seriously, what should we expect from the world? They hung Jesus on the cross and they poked fun at him as He hung there dying. So now they're poking fun at the act of crucifixion itself. Hal Lindsey was right when he said "Satan is alive and well on planet earth!"

Yes, but one hardly expects differently from an unbelieving world. Do we just sit back and click our tongue and say, "Bad world!" or do we pray for them and weep for the lost?

I know the answer in my life is all too often not the one I wish.

    My first reaction was laughter.

If it was meant to be Christ, then it's offensive, but not to the point of doing anything about it. God tends to hold his own against such stuff.

But...using the cross wasn't first done at Calvary, so I assumed the cartoon was the first person they tried to impose the death penalty on, took me a minute to figure out why you were asking what we thought.
