The deer is not my brother. He is going to share with me what the Creator made him for. And there will be no wounded wiias left wandering.
I would like to see if I have the skill to drop one with a high powered .177 caliber pellet. It is a challenge. And I'm not too fat to track him.

All your going to do is maim him if your lucky & cause him pain....let me hit you once or twice with a pellet & see how you like it. :BangHead:

I'm perfectly fine with hunting. Have done it myself. But inflict needless pain on an animal, that's sadistic and sad. "Just to see if I can." And if you fail, how much more unnecessary suffering will you inflict on other animals before beating your "challenge"?

Listen to what others are telling you. This is not a challenge, it's cruelty to animals.

I've a RWS single pump high velocity .177 pellet rifle w/4x scope that I could literally drive a nail with at 40 yds; I've taken several squirrels and eliminated many starlings with it, but that's it's limit. Go after some squirrels, not only is it a bona fide challenge, it's within design limits, and it's humane.

Check out this link. Your state describes what is a legal implement for hunting deer. Your little BB gun is not on the list. You might not be too fat to track but you are too fat in the head to think rationally. It is not a skill to purposely injure an animal. It is cruelty. Gamo recommends their Hunter series for varmint control and small game - not a deer.

You want to challenge yourself? Go hunt a black bear with your little pop gun.

I didn't get pulled in the bear lottery this year, so I would get in trouble for that.

You will get in the same trouble hunting deer with your gun.

We have a lottery for the tribal bear tags, as well as a state bear lottery, if that helps.

I have a challenge for you. It will be a true test of your skill with your BB gun. Here's what we'll do. You can go first.

We will sit or stand 100 yards apart facing each other. You bring your BB gun and I will allow you to fire five shots at me. No restrictions other than you must use your BB gun. When you are done, I will be allowed to take one shot at you with my 7mm-08.

Winner gets to buy a beer for EWF.

    Make that a Guinness and I'm in:thumbs:

BTW my dog "Kip" could probably bring down a deer...... but I dont let him...... that would be ugly. Besides I wouldn't eat anything or let Kip eat anything that graises & drinks water in Jersey.
