    Our Beloved "Uncle Al" Passes Away at age 84 ...

    "The Uncle Al Show" aired nationally on the ABC network in 1959 and 1960. Did any of you watch it? It aired where we live through 1985.
    My brother and I were on the show in 1970. I remember that day with great fondness, and I will miss Al Lewis's big smile and loving demeanor as well ..

    The only Al Lewis I remember is the one who played the old vampire on the Munsters. Is this the same one? I was a teen (and older) when that show mentioned in the article was on the TV, and in 1970 I was 24 and in California on an Air Force base.

    The Munster's Al Lewis was awesome too, but this is a different one. Both entertained children and both were awesome actors ...
