From a sign in my accountant's office....

Lack of planning on your part does not
constitute an emergency on my part.
A deadline implies no later than. Very few things in life come with no warning or notice. For example: snow tires! How many folks run to the tire store after the first big snowstorm (or their wreck after the first snow). Winter is not a surprise event in the Nawth. :BangHead:

But what is considered a "big snowstorm" I would say at least 12" of snow!

I always have everything done way ahead of schedule.

DH is a procrastinator...big time. His motto, "Never put off until tomorrow what you can put off forever". LOL

Opposites attract but it has brought about some very interesting 'conversations' over the years... :)

I said that I 'paced myself' in the poll, which is true of me at work, but not so at home! For example, I vearly always leave my Christmas shopping until the last weekend before the day, with the result that I end up wanting to kill everyone else in the shopping mall!

We had about a half inch on Tuesday which was enough to send a handful of cars into a ditch. Some folk think that certain physical laws do not apply if they are in a hurry. They must have forgotten that coefficient of friction lecture at driver training....

madre and I wait until after Christmas to do our shopping. We might exchange a small gift in Christmas day but wait until after the 25th to shop. We shop together which eliminates ill-fitting clothes, other disappointments and NO CROWDS!.

I had to click "Other answer" since I don't do Christmas shopping; I can't afford it.

I normally wait until I have just enough time to complete a project just seconds before I have to have it complete. I find I make less mistakes and can focus better if I am under the pressure of a dealine.

The last option on the poll sounds as if the poll is about work, is it, or is it every day life?
    I don't have a job.
In everyday life I would vote for
"as a Female, I pace myself and get it done before deadline"
    keeps down stress.

    I'm a male -

I'm retired - but worked a full time seasonal job this year (4/07/08 to 12/01/08) - plus my pastoral duties -

If I like the job ahead of me - I get it done quickly -

If I don't like the job ahead of me - I can take years to get it done -

So - now you wee - why I picked - "Other"
