Does It Really Matter What Version You Use?

    He is not talking about The Message by Eugene Peterson. He is talking about the message that is conveyed through the set of words used. For example:

    I have a fast car. It is red.
    I have a red car. It is fast.
    My red car is fast.
    I have a fast red car.
    I have a car that is red and fast.

    These sentences all convey the same message although they use slightly different words and sentence structure. Likewise, the KJV and MV's convey the same message even though they use a different set of words and sentence structure.

    I really do know that.

    Just having a little fun due to his capitalizing of 'message' in his phrase, "the MESSAGE".

    You are entirely correct. I had my mom tell me straight to my face several times that I need to be saved simply because I don't believe in onlyism. :tear:
