Jesus Christ never hid the fact that He was God. He demonstrated His deity while on earth. No one has any excuse to deny his deity, especially now that he has risen from the dead. If any denies the deity of Christ, then they are worshiping another Christ and therefore cannot be saved.

The OP you directed me to is you quoting you. I did not ask you for "hidden" scriptures, according to you. I asked, Do you have any scripture which declares God hides spiritual truths from His spiritual children?

The Jews knew that sorcerers, etc. did miracles.
Jesus never preached to those on the hillsides that He was God.
The only people He explained it to were His disciples ...
but not having the Spirit, they had no idea what He was talking about.
He confused the issue many times by saying such things as His Father was greater than He was.
    etc.

What believer Joe "sees" in the Bible is not what believer Jim "sees".
Because some spiritual truths are "somewhat hidden".
IMO, pretty much all spiritual truth has to be revealed by the Lord.

Some (many?) true believers sitting in churches do not "see" that Jesus is God.
E.G. some only believe He is the Son of God.

Kindergarden kids miss a lot because they have not learned the meaning and value of words.
Which is critical to productive understanding and communication.
Due to 50+ years of deliberate dumbing-down of kids in the education system!
Sorry, but I wasn't part of that at all.
    Welcome to the real world.

Thanks for the welcome. But your world is not real at all; it is philosophical. All that you have given me are vain imaginations of the heart. Nothing more. There is nothing, not one ounce of what you have said, that is Biblical.

    I trust in the Word.
Christ is God. Unless you believe that He is God, the Creator, the Second Person of the triune Godhead, you cannot be saved. If you do not know Christ then you cannot believe in Christ, can you? You must know who He is before you can be saved.

Can a man be saved by believing on the Islamic version of Jesus?
Obviously not! He must first believe that he is much more than a prophet; He is God Almighty far greater than Mohammed.

So, if someone was saved and did not believe Jesus Christ is God, if that were possible, who would this person believe He is? Believing any other choice is something less than God, so something less than God is saving him and granting eternal life. Lets see, if Jesus is not God, what could He be? Oh I know, a SDA prophet.

No OMNE can even call Jesus as their Lord, their God, apart from the Holy Spirit revealing that to them, so ALL saved by God will confess and know jesus is God!

Muslims call Him a great prophet, Hindus and new agers an avater of God, others a great teacher, NONE of that will save !

Well, you're the only one lately (except moi) who is making any sense!
And that means this forum is in deep deep trouble!

T'would be nice, if someone presented a Scripture
that disqualifies something I wrote in post #24.

And t'would be nice if Steaver and/or DHK understood plain simple English.

Only One Who is GOD INCARNATE can save mankind by His substitionary death for our sins. No mere creature, no matter how highly exalted, can reconcile man to God. If the 'Christ' in whom one has faith is any other than GOD INCARNATE, then that 'Christ' cannot save.

The only-begotten Son of God IS God (see John 1:1-14).

Yes, it is difficult to find fault with this ... but,
perhaps you might humor me by considering ...

A few years ago, I came to believe that ...

A sinless human being dying for our sins was more important in Father God's plan of redemption
... than God dying for our sins!
I.E. another man succeeded in over-riding the grievous error that Adam had committed.

... and that God dying for our sins was an extra bonus/blessing.
It was an extraordinary manifestation of His great love for mankind.

For those who did not appreciate the first might just appreciate the second.

I forget exactly, but perhaps Romans 5 is the best reference.

the Holy spirit enables the sinner to 'see" just who jesus is, for the sinner calling uopon his ane to be saved by him has the undestanding that He is the Lord Messiah, Son of God, risen Lord!

Lord in bible title for jesus as being God, and NONE can call Jesus that unless the Spirit allows them too, so there are no saved person seeing jesus one way, and others different way!

Seems that our friend was trying to say that unless one gets the "Baptism in holy Ghost", they stay in the dark spiritually, and only a "half Gospel!"
