    You got it. That is right, because the KJB has been the word of God for generations of believers and it is accurate and without error. I have no knowledge of Greek and Hebrew, as most people do not. Generations of believers in the past, and even unto this very day know it to be the very word of God in our language. ANYTHING that takes away from, or adds to that truth in this day and age is error. Plain and simple truth. And I thank and praise my Lord and Saviour for what HE has provided for me, and many others, so that we do not get caught up in this spirit of unbelief and doubt concerning his words.

    OK, sorry for the sarcasm. Here's something more truthful for you: $10 for Waite's opinion on the NKJV is about $11 too expensive.

    Whatever the cost, it's worth it, and for the zillioneth time, it's not "anti-KJV/kjb" material, it's anti-KJVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and anti-kjbOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :eek:

    Beat me to it, Orvie. We cannot have civil discussions on the ISSUE if one side seems not to understand the ISSUE!

    Are we about done with the topic? No one has shown one place where the NKJV does not follow the basic TR text, and we've had 8 pages.

    Hope this "puts to bed" one error of rhetoric in the debate.

    Searching for the clue: "NKJV IGNORES the Receptus over 1,200 times"
    we find google lists it 31 times. Here is one:

    This place tells that the nKJV is the worse of all the
    modern versions.

    What Askjo was claiming was something about 40 which
    statements were NOT tracable to the internet.
    One thing i know i do is check posts here to see if
    they come paste and copy from the internet. To do so
    without credit and/or pointers is a no-no.
    That was not the case here. Here Brother Askjo cited
    a figure of 40% at least two different ways
    regarding variance between the KJV and the nKJV.
    The two ways were self conflicting. We still don't know
    where he was getting this number of 40%
    nor what it mean. Until told otherwise, i'll mark it
    off as misplaced zeal with placed ignorance of
    translation methods, placed ignorance scientific methods,
    and placed of arithmetic.

    Menawhile, it reminds me of a poll i was wanting to do ...

    The KJV translators did the same with the plural of seraph michelle.

    KJV Isaiah 6:6
    Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, [which] he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

    NKJV Isaiah 6:6
    Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar.

    Since you are so fond of dictionaries:

    Seraph, plural seraphim, supernatural being. The name seems to derive from the Hebrew word “to burn.” According to the Book of Isaiah, seraphim have six wings. Scholars have suggested that seraphim were winged serpents. In Numbers, the word “seraph” denotes a “fiery” (i.e. poisonous) serpent. Like cherubim, seraphim are associated with the glory of God, as in the liturgy.
