Donations in obits

    Often in obits, an individual will request that donations be made to certain charities in the name of the deceased.
    But suppose the charity listed is Planned Parenthood, Catholic Charities or some other one you would not feel comfortable giving to.

    So what would you do? If they listed Planned Parenthood, would you instead give to a pro-life group,
    give nothing, or bite your tongue as you wrote a small check to PP?

    Most in our church would ask for gifts to go to the church or to our seniors lunch club Last Tuesday we gave a free Christmas meal to the old folk as the family of one late member asked any donations to go to the church or the lunch club.
