    So I ask you, why did our military lose life and limb to capture these people if they were only going to be released anyway? What's the point?

    Apparently because "they were no longer a security threat and no charges would be filed against them" according to the story.

    Hussein has been charged. He would have to be found not guilty to go free.

    So, you're saying the 24 that have been in captivity were not charged?
