Nope, He was catholic monk went Anabaptist was up against the emperor's law. Banished, came back anyways got executed as per the law of the land. He was not kicked out the catholic church.

Jesus Christ was tortured and killed by Jewish authorities. Notice even within the Jewish faith you can't be kicked out of being a Jew.

If it all worked anyways like you think it does, Jesus would have been kicked out.

Matt Chandler is Lead Pastor of The Village Church. Here is part of their view of baptism, from p. 5 of The Village Church's Baptism Booklet: "For those who were sprinkled or immersed at an earlier age, it is important to understand that we should only be baptized once. If you trusted in Christ at that time, your baptism is valid and need not, indeed should not, be repeated." While they only practice immersion when doing it themselves, they will recognize a sprinkling as baptism. I consider recognizing sprinkling as baptism contrary to Baptist belief.

The text of Patrick's message at Southwestern can be found HERE. He blames everything from postmillennialism to smoking on the Calvinists.

He would hold to Baptist Theology in all areas, but holds to Calvinistic Sotierology, same way I do!
