    Dr. John C. Whitcomb was Promoted to Glory on February 5. With Henry Morris, he co-authored "Genesis Flood" published in 1961.

    Dr. Whitcomb was a professor of mine. He was a gentleman. I enjoyed his class on creation science. He also was a tremendous advocate for Grace Theological Seminary. He nearly convinced me to go there. Let us rejoice that he is now with His Redeemer!

    You were blessed to study with one of the best. He said when he was at the Ark Encounter signing books a year or so ago that he was a veteran of the Battle of the Bulge in World War II. He was 95. He lived her in Indianapolis.

    I had the great privilege to meet Dr. Whitcomb back in the 70's or early 80's when he was lecturing in a small town in western Nebraska. I grew up as a Theistic Evolutionist, but like the Apostle Paul, when I grew up I put away childish things. I now have a small library of books on Creation vs evolutionism, and whenever I get the chance I teach a seminar on the subject that takes about 25 hours of lecture to cover the relevant material. Real science does indeed support Creation and not evolutionism - Praise God. Romans chapter one is exactly right - there is no excuse for not seeing God in the things that He created.
