Marijuana is a creation of Jesus. He made it, He made it good and for the use of man. Whether or not the buds should be smoked I think is a descision the individual must make if it were legal.

There are a lot of good uses for the plant and so I am an advocate of decriminalizing or legalizing it so that the plant could be grown to make paper products, clothing, rope, et. I also agree that it should be legal of medical use.

    Reformed...

    Agree with all of that.

Its legal for medicinal use in California I believe, and maybe other places as well, for nausea relief for people who have nausea so bad that nothing else works.

from my pre-Christ years when I smoked it a lot I can testify to the fact that it is an absolutely AMAZING nausea relief agent.

It is an instant cure for radiation-chemotherapy related nausea. It will also cure seasickness. And the curing effects take place long before you need to ingest enough to become intoxicated.

Was a regular user of Marijuana at age 13. It helped with the pain of emotional scars but the problem was that it helped by covering it up as a bandage but did nothing towards the healing. It was a false sense of utopia, an unnatural feeling of finding happiness and enlightening through a means which was a lie, a sense of spiritual awaking that was not lead by the Holy Spirit but a harmful chemical reaction within in my brain.

My sense of judgment was seriously impaired, often deep seemingly enlightening thoughts were later realized to be quite meaningless after coming down off the high. My desires and cravings were heightened, such as getting the “munches” which lead to bouts of bulimia because of over indulgence. There are also regrets for my lack of action on many things because of a sense of paranoia type reasoning resulting in some really bad judgment in matters.

I became very psychologically addicted because it was all that I had to cover up even more emotional pains that I did not want to face. For a long time I realized what this drug was doing to and for me but I could not bare to quit. I smoked more and more to avoid coming down, first thing in the morning and last thing before falling asleep and was desperate to keep a constant supply. Although I worked, I bought and sold it to keep myself in supply and all my income revolved around these sales and my usage. I resorted to ripping of dealers if I should fall behind and nothing mattered more than keeping a supply so I could remain having “fun” and keep being “relaxed” in my life.

I began having dreams and nightmares that I woke up from and often couldn’t tell what was real and what was not, another joint would take care of that though! It was the hardest thing I have ever done to quit. When I did I had nothing to my name; I had to then face at the age of 26 things I should have been dealing with back when I started. I couldn’t have fun anymore without it because I did not know how to feel good naturally as those trigger connections in my brain were used to artificial stimulations. Years of mental anguish and misery passed as I suffered from the effects with only a very slow progress in recovery which today seems like a blur as if another person’s life. I remember about three years after quitting I realized I was living better, I had a business started, and a better home and vehicle and more importantly was working out the emotional scars in my life. I especially remember one day driving in my truck and feeling good and began singing to a song on the radio which I just then realized I had not done such or felt that way since I had quit.

Although I believe God was near me and calling me from the time I was a little boy, the spirits which were controlling my life were predominately chemical and one might say I allowed marijuana to be my god.

Now that I have revealed to you all some of how messed up my life has been to get this point across, let me give my opinion that use of marijuana is very dangerous and harmful for many reasons and no Christian should risk engaging those spirits.

P.S. I started many many people smoking pot and kept them high and I seriously doubt anyone here has as much experience. I have no doubt that still today I could give someone a joint and start convincing them to do and believe things they would not ordinarily do or believe because of knowing what is going on in their mind. I could look and smell a bag of weed and tell you, if it was of any quality whatsoever, rather it would take between one and three hits to intoxicate you and I seriously doubt any medical usage would stop or be effective before that point.
