    FTR, the one who is calling for the thread to be closed, specifically me, EdSutton, is a tee-totaler, and has never even so much as tasted a beer in what will be my entire 60 year lifetime, in less than three months.

    However, as to the 'merits' of my request, #1, the poll is closed, and I do presume for a while, hence one who chooses to vote in it (although I almost never vote in any polls on any subject, even though I will often comment, because I generally do not like the limited and 'pigeonholed' options available to me, and this one was no exception), cannot enter his or her vote;

    #2, the thread has gone beyond the 30 page 'limit' instituted by the powers-that-be, on the Baptist Board, hence needs to be closed in that area, for the reason of consistency, thus my call to the Moderators in this regard;

    and #3, surely does fall, after 6 mos., under the "out-of-date" guidelines given, as well, for the thread is certainly 'stale' and out-of-date, at least IMO. (Start a new poll and thread, if you desire one.)

    In addition, I challenge anyone to show where I ever advocated the use of alcohol, on the Baptist Board, and invite one to freely search through the well above 6000+ posts I have recorded (not to mention the more than 350 that I have 'lost') , in posting for more than two years on the Baptist Board.

    Incidentally, I also do call "foul", to use another's word, when someone 'attacks' one who is not able to defend him or her self, due to the fact that one is deceased, and/or, in the case of BB members, 'banned'. FTR, one instance, regarding one instance on the Baptist Board where I called "foul", involved now "Banned" poster, standingfirminChrist, who was, at that time, on a suspension, when I took another poster to task for 'attacking' him. I do the same for all posters, even when I may disagree or have disagreed with them, on a stance they may have taken, because I attempt to treat all equally and evenly. And incidentally, as well, the last poster I called "foul" on is Joe, in another thread on another subject, who posted in this thread after I did.

    Now, once again, would one of the Administrators and/or Moderators in the nonet of AndrewT, BJH, C4K, Clint Kritzer, Dr. Bob, I Am Blessed 17, Squire Robertsson, webmaster, and Pastor Larry please close this overdue thread? Thank you, and

    "Next Case!"
