Um I speak for experiance that once you start you just can't stop as the chips commercial says. I dyed my hair three years ago, and only recently could I find just the right dye to get it back natural (since I refused to cut it!). I suppose if you are able to afford it, and have the committment to do it, it's fine as long as it's not an unnatural color! YIKES! Nothing is more unattractive than green and purple hair.......although mine looked a little orange the first time I dyed it. HAHA!!

I have never colored my hair don't intend to, it is such a beautiful color, a rich dark brown, it is one of my only good features. Now my sister I don't think she even remembers her natural color she's colored it so many times.

I went to Panama City with my youth group. We bought bottles of Sun-in. More than half of us came back with orange hair.

I got a gray streak through my bangs and one side of my head in my late 20's so began coloring my hair back then. Now, I'm much older, and my natural color has gone from a lovely light brown to some really dark non color with gray only in the front top so I have mine 'highlighted' to put the light color all over. It's almost totally white and light blond on most of my head. I'd color it all over but I reacted to the coloring about 2 years ago and am afraid to try again! My head felt like it was on FIRE! No sores or blisters tho. ????

I remember a few years ago,a school corporation banned teenagers from dying their hair anything that wasn't a natural color. Some kids were even kicked out for it.Then I remembered as a little boy in church, some of the older ladies had bright blue hair.

In a feeble attempt to get my uncle to go to church with me I died my hair....jet black!!!
He said if I did it he would go to church with me! That was years ago when I was young and dumb! He laughed at me and then backed out! When my dad saw it he jokingly asked me NOT to go to church with him! Never again will such pigments adorn my head! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I have had my hair all different natural colors. Right before my senor pictures I colored my hair this brownish red color. I already have some natural red tints in my hair and it turned all bright red. I had to use a wash in toner that would last the day so my hair would be a natural color in the pictures. But that has not stopped me from coloring my hair.
some people just do not learn lol

I've never colored my hair- not even with any temporary wash-out stuff. You can tell if someone colored their hair a "natural" color. Besides, I hate doing anything with my hair, anyways.

    *My 1st post here!

Lets see, my hair has nice red high lights. There's this one girl on "Ten Years Younger" that has blue hair and it looks awesome! But I couldn't pull off the royal blue hair. So, I stick with nice red high lights.

Oh wait.....I'm already insane so it wouldn't do you any good!
Just remember...you thought my hair was red for a reason! ;)

I have never dyed my hair, although when I was little, I tried to color it with a marker...mom wasn't too happy with my red scalp, lol! I am blessed with blond hair, and I would just DIE if I ever colored it! (no pun intended, btw!)

Hardy har har! You just THOUGHT it was red...although I definatly have the temper for it!
The color has finaly grown out a good bit and you can see my natural blonde streak. One of the women in church came to me after the service wanting to know why I'd dyed my hair again. I was really confused, because of course, I've not colored it. I finaly figured out she meant the blonde and had to convince her that I was born with it! LOL!
