This poster asks you a question which you are refusing to answer.

Van, this is your second copy and paste. At the end you state:
"Therefore if God credits our "faith in the truth" as righteous faith, He bestows His gracious blessing of salvation by setting us apart spiritually in Christ."

That's a mighty big if. How do you actually know...if...God credits your faith as righteous faith? Have you ever had unrighteous faith? You state that the last process is salvation, but how do you actually know your faith is righteous faith and not unrighteous faith?

Yet another taint so denial of biblical truth. Matthew 23:13 makes it clear who is preventing people from entering the kingdom! So the repeat question is simply obfuscation. Next we get blather about the "final say." Does the scripture indicate those prevented from entering were prevented by the false teachings, or the resultant action of God? No answer will come from these disingenuous posters.
So they change the subject and demand answers for off topic questions.
Both Matthew 23:13 and Romans 9:16 are consistent and true, and your pretense that Matthew 23:13 does not say what it says is hogwash.

Asked and answered dozens of times.; So obfuscation on display and a straight up denial of the steps in the process of entering the kingdom.

Actually, you have never answered the question.

Van, you state:

Yet another material false statement.
Every lost person's "faith" is unrighteous. For you not to know that proves your biblical knowledge. Recall all our works of righteousness are as filthy rags to God? It is God who credits our filthy rag faith as righteous faith turning a sows ear into a silk purse.

And how about the denial that God does not credit the person who declares their faith, such as those in Matthew 7?

On and on folks, one false assertion after another is all Falselogy has to offer.

When God takes an individual out of being "in Adam" and transfers them spiritually into Christ's spiritual body, they are made alive together with Christ. Thus a spiritually "dead" individual is made spiritually alive by the washing of regeneration (regeneration = made alive). Since in an unholy sinful state we are separated from our holy God, the "washing" removes whatever was "unholy" such as what God held against us.

The OT saints did not immediately enter the kingdom when they obtained approval by faith. No, they had to wait in "Abraham's bosom" to be made perfect after Christ died on the cross.

In Matthew 23:13 Jesus says some individuals were "entering the kingdom" but were prevented from going in.

Thus a process, or sequence of steps, is utilized in order to gain entry. We know the final step, God transfers the person from the realm of darkness into the kingdom of His beloved Son, Colossians 1:13. And we know, from 2 Thessalonians 2:13 that our being set apart (the sanctification by the Spirit) is the action God uses to make His choice of individuals for salvation.

Therefore if God credits our "faith in the truth" as righteous faith, He bestows His gracious blessing of salvation by setting us apart spiritually in Christ.

When does this happen?
Is it because the individual displayed faith or because God chose to do this by grace alone?

So, God makes them alive, with no effort made by the recipient?

The Bible says we were dead in our trespasses and sins. But God...

They entered the Kingdom when God redeemed them. They were justified in Abraham's bosom until the Promised One redeemed them.

We can agree.

Does this mean humans prevented other humans from being saved? Do humans have that kind of power over God's will?

Works? What works are required to be saved?

Does the individual receive transfer and salvation after God has sanctified them?

Are you in the sanctification process on earth and hopeful salvation at the end?

*Romans 8:30*
And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

1 Corinthians 6:11*

And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

What comes first?
I believe scripture shows us we were:

1. Chosen and Adopted before the foundation of the world.
2. Saved by God's grace alone, apart from anything we do.
3. Justified in Jesus substitutionary atonement by faith alone.
4. Sanctified daily by grace and the effective work of the Holy Spirit in our daily walk.
5. Glorified at death by God's continual choice of us as His Covenant children.

Once again the Falselogy advocate posts utter obfuscation!

When does our election for salvation occur? When God transfers the existing individual spiritually into Christ.
Salvation does NOT, repeat does NOT, depend on the person that wills. However Austin keeps claiming that nonsense and attributing it to me. Falselogy requires sacrificing virtue on the alter of deceit
Salvation is by grace alone through faith credited as righteous faith alone..
Once again we have no power to make ourselves alive, God puts individuals with Christ's spiritual body where they are MADE alive together with Christ. Austin simply ask asinine questions one after the other.
The Old Covenant Saints entered Abraham's bosom where they had to wait to be made perfect. Only those made perfect enter the kingdom of heaven.
And for the umpteenth time, Austin denies Matthew 23:13. It says people did not allow others to go in.
And for the umpteenth time Falselogy advocates claim that when God saves according to His will, that means not according to His will. Utterly false premise.
Does Austin know what he means by being sanctified? Does it mean being set apart within Christ's spiritual body? Who knows, this post just makes up nonsense.
And for the umpteenth time, I have addressed positional sanctification, progressive sanctification and ultimate sanctification, yet Austin simply repeats his asked and answered questions.

1) Scripture says we were corporately chosen before the foundation of the world and individually chosen after we were once one a people chosen for God's possession. I have posted this dozens of times.

2) Our adoption will occur in the future, see Romans 8:23. The effort to claim "adoption" refers to being placed within Christ were we undergo the washing of regeneration is depraved nonsense.

3) We are justified by the washing of regeneration, which occurs when God places us individually within Christ's spiritual body.

4) We are not sanctified daily, but once for all time. Our progressive sanctification result in becoming more effective ambassadors of Christ, but spiritually we have already been made perfect. Folks, do not trample of the blood of Christ.

5) When we became siblings of Christ we were glorified spiritually, and when we undergo our bodily redemption, we will be raised in glorified bodies.

Folks, pay no attention to the non-stop fiction posted by the Falselogy advocates.

Nope. I was very clear.

Someone want to translate Vanology here? What does this even mean, since there is zero scripture that supports this claim.

We agree. No one "accepts" Christ. Salvation is by God's choice not man's. Here you sound Reformed.

What do you believe?

And here we see your addition to scripture.
Salvation is by grace alone. Faith is the effect, not the cause.

Anyone know what Van is saying? You cannot find this in scripture, but here Van asserts it anyway.

You think so. Yet you provide non-biblical answers.

Zero scripture for the above assertion.
Abraham was saved by grace and justified by faith. He was made righteous even while being in what Jesus called "Abraham's bosom."
Only those made perfect enter the kingdom of heaven.
All who enter the Kingdom are made perfect by Christ Jesus atonement and the faith God gave them to believe.

I don't deny what Jesus said. Where we differ is in interpretation. You think Jesus said that humans had the capacity to keep other humans from being saved in these verses. I believe Jesus is declaring a prophetic "Woe" (a curse) on the Pharisees because their teaching was not what God teaches in the OT and thus pointed people toward hell. Like the Judaizers, the Pharisees we're anathema to God.

Where does anyone make this claim? Answer: No one makes this claim.

Indeed, your claim is utterly false.

Yes, I do. It means to be set apart. God is in the process of setting us apart everyday.

You certainly don't seem to know.

The nonsense is your labels. Either God is sanctifying us or he isn't.

False. No corporate choosing. This is Vanology through and through.

False, Romans 8:23 has been addressed in the past and you have been shown your error.
We were adopted before the foundation of the world. (Ephesians 1:3-4)

Anyone care to translate Vanology for us?
God says we are justified by faith alone. Read Romans 1 through Romans 11.

We are indeed being made holy (set apart) daily.

Of course our justification has already happened. Justification is not Sanctification

Adoption, Salvation, Justification, Sanctification, and Glorification seem to be hard for you to understand.
What Is the Difference between Justification and Sanctification?

We don't, Van.

Anyone know how to interpret this Vanology? I see no scripture that supports this Vanology.

Vanology is the true Falseology.

I answered fully and you snipped it all. Stop being false in your statements.
There is nothing more for me to say. I went through your theology and addressed each point. Your Vanology is not held by any Baptist church that I have ever known.

One thing I want to know: did Abraham enter his own bosom?
