    Why are you posting this?

They are both evil and incapable of compassion.

Why are we just now hearing about it? Have they been hiding the truth again?

I'm sure it will change nothing. The both of them have been proclaimed evil.

Let's see "carpro" has assumed the perogatives of divinity, am I to assume that you have also. I can picture now the movie "Quo Vadis" when Peter Ustinov played the "divine" Caesar who crucified Christians, coated some with pitch to provide light for his orgy's, and fed the rest to wild animals. Don't know about Cheney but Bush is a Christian.

I don't understand what happened to this thread, there must have been some deleted posts.

But the fact that Bush has met with, called, and written to the families of fallen soldiers has not been a secret. He has done this throughout both terms of his presidency. I was glad to see that they had actually records and that he did communicate with every one of the families but I knew he had talked to most. Every family that I know who has lost someone had been contacted.

It was never in the news for several reasons. Of course it was all a great conspiracy to make Bush look bad - NOT. It was personal and private. I thought most Americans knew about it.

It is no less than I would have expected. I think most presidents would have done the same.

Prehaps it wasn't advertised and filmed because it was an actual act of compassion.
though many will believe what they prefer.
And yes, I would expect any president to do something similar.

I understand it is difficult, at times, to identify sarcasm when one sees it.

Your apology is accepted in advance.
