I was responding to the ignorance you were endeavoring to perpetuate. Give us just one example of a literal translation.

    :laugh::laugh::laugh:

The 8 kingdoms of Daniel and a Revived Roman Empire didn't come by the Spirit. The 8 kingdoms perhaps did come from you(a man) but the Revived Roman Empire is a dispie invention from way back. Either way you have yet to show either in scripture.

You seem proud of your lack of study. Yet much of what you say comes straight out of the Hal Lindsey playbook.

Then you should have plenty of time ,to show in scripture ,where the Antichrist makes a treaty with the Arabs and Israel.

Also show me how the "spirit" leads you to interpret this verse:

Eze 39:9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

Evidently you don't know much about the one world government/European union/the Federal Reserve/Bank of international Settlement/or unable to buy/sell without their mark.

Jesus condemned those of his day for not being able to read the "signs of the times".

I read his book when it first came out, back in the 60-70's, but none since.

People who have the same teacher, learn/teach the same things.

Da 11:23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully:

The AC promises to protect Israel if they'll make a "peace treaty" with Arabs.

Isa 28:18 And your covenant (league) with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

If you don't know this, you're trying to debates things that are way over your head, need to study more.

People are cleaning the land preparing for the MK.

I'd like some who don't believe in the MK to explain why the land is cleaned if the GWT Judgment takes place at this time then the entire planet is "Burned".

Yep. To the Old Testament, the Latter days are from the first coming of Christ to the second coming of Christ.

Yep, that works. The Saints (Christians, saved folks) in the third century (0201-0300) were not looking for a revised Roman Empire (they still had the first one. They were looking for Neron Redivictus - the revived Nero.

No. This is in prophecy, and we are not in the dispensation of prophecy, or the law. Jesus said until John was the Law and Prophecy. Jesus fulfilled prophecy of Himself, but Prophecy stopped there.

After this Secret time is over, hidden by God from man Prophecy will again begin, and Israel will again be dealt with in Wrath, and in Love.

You have to quote half the Bible to find 8 Kingdoms in Daniel 2?

You have to quote half the Bible to find the "AntiChrist" making a peace covenant with Israel and the Arabs?

No, the real reason you don't quote scripture is because you can't find scripture that fits your view.

Please, just find one where Daniel lays out 8 Kingdoms starting with Egypt.

    Larkin on steriods.

See, this is your problem. You read Hal Lindsey 30 years ago and haven't picked up a book on eschatology since, and you seem very proud of it. So what you read 30 years ago are the presuppositions you bring to the text. You never bother to read those with differing views to test your own theories and beliefs. Thank God we have Seminaries and Bible schools were people can go and learn from the great Theologians of the past and wrestle with these Doctrines.

    But, who needs learnin.

Yes, only you are guided by the Spirit. Not Gill or Spurgeon or Barnes, just you.

No doubt about it. I don't even think normal dispies can figure out your system.

Where does 2Thes. 2:11 say the AC is the strong delusion?? You read that into the text. See what i mean about your Lindsey presuppositions?

Once again, you just assume this is the Antichrist because you read it 30 years ago.

    Albert Barnes:

If another shall come in his own name - A false teacher setting up himself, and not even pretending to have a divine commission. The Jews were much accustomed to receive and follow particular teachers. In the time of Christ they were greatly divided between the schools of Hillel and Shammai, two famous teachers.

Mat 24:24 for there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and they shall give great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, also the chosen.
Once again, ripping it out of its 1st century context and applying it to an AntiChrist 1000s of years into the future. An AntiChrist that is not found in Eze., Thess., or Revelation, but only found in I and II John.

    1Jo 2:18 Little youths, it is the last hour; and even as ye heard that the antichrist doth come, even now antichrists have become many--whence we know that it is the last hour;

Now you take a verse that has Jesus sitting on the horse and twist it into the AC. The same AC found nowhere in Revelation.

So we are going to have Mig Jet Fighters burned for 7 years to make plows for the MK. I bet even Revmitchell is laughing at that one.:laugh:

    When would this happen:

Isa 2:2 And it hath come to pass, In the latter end of the days, Established is the mount of Jehovah's house, Above the top of the mounts, And it hath been lifted up above the heights, And flowed unto it have all the nations.
And when were the end of days?

    Heb 1:2 in these last days did speak to us in a Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He did make the ages;

Well looky there, the last days were at the time of Christ and the writing of Hebrews.

Heb 9:26 (for then He must have suffered often since the foundation of the world), but now once in the end of the world He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

1Pe 1:20 indeed having been foreknown before the foundation of the world, but revealed in the last times for you,

Let me guess, you drag the "last days" out for thousands of years??? Or do you just pretend those verses aren't there? WWHS? (What Would Hal Say)

    Let keep quoting Is. 2:

Isa 2:19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth for fear of Jehovah and for the glory of His majesty, when He arises to shake the earth terribly.

    Sound familiar?

    Rev 6:16 And they said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;

When will this happen? Jesus answered that question:

Luk 23:28 But turning to them, Jesus said, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.
Luk 23:29 For behold, the days are coming in which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the breasts which did not suckle.
Luk 23:30 And they shall begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us! And to the hills, Cover us!

    Why does this judgment occur?

Isa 3:8 For Jerusalem is ruined and Judah has fallen; because their tongue and their doings are against Jehovah, to provoke the eyes of His glory.

I thought the AC was behind all this, apparently it was the JEWS! Of the 1st Century!

Ole Hal never was one for context.
Yep, I'm reading it. Hal Lindsey recycled 30 years later.

You've already admitted/shown your doctrine came from other men and the books they've published,

I said mine came from the KJ Bible with the spirit teaching,

We'll let it go at that. :wavey:

Yea, I guess that easier than finding 8 Kingdoms in Daniel. Thats the problem with private interpretation and lack of study, when someone asks you to prove your theories from scripture it's about that time you take your ball and go home.

I wonder if you go to church and listen to a pastor? No, thats just a man and his opinions.

Amen, Brother Elder Me4Him -- Preach it!

My Eschatology also came from the King James Version (and other good Bible versions) with the Holy Spirit teaching me (well, I did use a Cruden's Concordance and later a Strong's ). Isn't it strange how close our eschatologies are -- I call it (not a co-incidence) a God-incidence.

Of course, one has to use other books for the question "Has it happened yet?". I've been using the newspaper(s) for the 2009minus1952 = 57 years that I've been a Christian. Some of the earlier parts of that period are now in the History books.

[I have a grandson, will be a Senior in high school when school starts in August, living with me. I checked out his USA History book. A full third ofthe book is about things NOT in the history book I had in High School (basically everything since Eisenhour got elected in 1952 -- I.E. the same 57 years I've been a Christian) ]

I'm even reading THE STORY OF THE EARTH which tells about the last 1.6 Billion years of Earth History in stone. Did you know there is a place in Oklahoma where the oil containing shale from which the oil is being mined from under 48,000 feet of sediment? How did those shell leftovers get way down 7 miles under the surface in the earth? Why does it take God a billion years to make oil and people will use it all up in 100 years? How fair is that?

Anyway, my eschatology and politics both came from the Holy Bibles, including the King James Versions (KJVs).

I wonder if some one-bookists are one-meaning-ists also? Can God pack two meanings in one Bible prohecy? I think so.

Yep, a lot has changed since the 50's, this younger generation has no idea how far down the ladder the country/society has fallen since then.

I know a boy who graduated from high school and can't read the certificate.

The history of our country isn't taught, especially "Civic classes", and how the government is sit up to operate, which it's in violation today.

The "dumbing down" has left us with a generation of idiots primed for slavery of the One world Government.

The http://energy.usgs.gov/ estimates the USA has the largest oil reserves in the world, one field supplying all our present needs for the next 41 years,

and it's all "onshore", nothing in the ocean.

The Piceance Basin has an estimated 1.525 trillion barrels of in-place oil shale resources.

I don't use anything but the KJ, not even the NKJ, too many "little mistakes" that leads to "BIG ERRORS".

Of course, the way things are looking in accordance with Bible prophecy, it's foolish to fill up your vehicle thinking you're going to have time to burn all that gas/oil.

In this context who is 'our' - the whole world or the USofA?

Anyway, until we see Ezekiel 38 as one future invasion of Israel and Ezekiel 39 as a second future invasion of Israel -- we will always miss the point.

    Exercises for the student:

set down Ezekiel 38 & 39 and note the differences:
The big one is a host of allies in Ezekiel 38, allies not mentioned in Ezekiel 39.

Compare Revelation 20 (or so) Gog & Magog invasion with both. Looks to me like it is more like the same as Ezekiel 39 than 38.

    Topic Drifts:

//The Piceance Basin has an estimated 1.525 trillion barrels of in-place oil shale resources.//

Yep, I've heard of them. Here is a map of some formations of the permian era in Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas. (that oil company map just happened to be the first one I ran across, it shows the relationship with some events of 115Million to 65Million years ago - a shallow sea was dumped on ('filled'?) by sediment, now turned to stone.
    http://www.marathon.com/content/inline-images/marathon_com/maps/tx_co_nm_ok_la_2009.gif
This includes the over 20Kfeet deep shale beds in western Oklahoma which I discussed earlier.
You know as soon as our easy to recover oil disappears -- all four of the horsemen of Revelation Chapter 4&5 will be riding :-(

    Elder Brother Me4Him:
// Of course, the way things are looking in accordance with Bible prophecy, it's foolish to fill up your vehicle thinking you're going to have time to burn all that gas/oil. //

Tee Hee - It is to hot for me outside this week -- hot enough to remind me of hotest hades and warmer Global Warming.

That is just the USA, we have more oil than all the reserves of the whole world "COMBINED".

As that Southern Gospel songs says,

"I'm not looking to a hole in the ground, I'm looking for one in the sky". (rapture)

Daniel 11; 15-24, give a sequence leading up to the revealing of the AC, kings of north/south war, raiser of taxes, then the AC,

but somewhere, before the AC is revealed, the rapture occurs,

2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. (Comforter/Rapture)

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed,

I'm looking for that "hole in the sky". :D
