I am ashamed to say that I am totally addicted to Facebook. But it is so fun! I also get to talk to my grandson in Iraq on there and keep track of the rest of my family through status updates.

I have been reunited with old friends and have met some new relatives who still live in Germany. It is a much cleaner site than myspace, which fortunately, I never did have the desire to join.

I have all the BB members as friends except the ones who just joined.

Please feel free to send me a Friend Request and put your user name (on the BB) in the subject line. My name is Sue Weindorf.

Be there or be square.

I am slowly learning to use it. Question for those who are more familiar. I have added some unsaved relatives who occasionally post some things that I find somewhat offensive. At the same time I realize that they see what I post. Is it worth reading their junk so that they can read mine?

I think about that sometimes, too. Of course you have several options.

    1. Ignore it for the reason you described.

    2. Report the posts.

    3. "unfriend" them.

    4. If they post to your wall, you can usually delete the post.

If you hover your cursor over the offending post, the word "hide" will pop up just to the right of the post.. Click on that..

You then can have the option of hiding their posts..

This also works for all the junk application stuff too...
I hid all the hatchling stuff because I got tired of seeing it all..

Thanks for the advice. Hiding sounds best. I don't want to remove them as friend and there isn't anything that is objectionable to report. Just things that I might not find in Phillipians 4:8

    Question ...

On a fb group page, how can we share photos, versus uploading photos to our group page? I created a group page for our church's association and it's great in terms of communication. But each individual must upload photos, instead of being able to share an album from each individual's church fb page. We're not able to create specific albums either, but would like to.

Any advice you can share is appreciated! :wavey:

Sigh. I had to close my facebook account. Too many viruses and strangers getting my info. I miss my FB buddies.

On a good note, I'm getting much more done around the house now that I quit playing all the games!

See, I've never had strangers get my info or gotten viruses - because I don't play the games. The only reason I have it is to keep in touch with friends and family. It works WAY better that way!

I think the games and all the down loadables are what cause the viruses too. I don't play anything but an occasional farm town.

I too only use it to keep in touch with my past and present.
