    I was wondering.

Is it so hard to leave the concept of " Everything the other party does is wrong " ?

Here in France, that's the way things go : socialists jump on anything they can against the gov, and whatever the gov does, is wrong. If the right wing wasn't governing, it would be the same.

I voted for our actual president, and i support his politics, even if it might be hard sometimes (raising our hospital daily tax, when you are at hospital, from 16 to 18 €), i think the final intention is good (keeping the system).

Even if i support him, of course there're things i don't agree with (talking about letting us retire at 67 ... no way for me, i'll go on strike if necessary), but some things the socialists purpose are good too.

I have the feeling it's the same everywhere : some people choose to support " their " champion or party, at any cost, no matter what he does, he'll be right (i remember the WOMD thing, even if some claimed there were no, and that finally there were no, some kept on supporting the original purpose of war in Iraq and found an excuse), and no matter what the opposing party purposes, it'll be wrong.

Why are people so single and close minded ?

This is a characterization without understanding. You ignore the foundational concern. What happens is that party's tend to carry a basic foundational world view. When I disagree with that it is most likely that every decision that comes out of that will also be a problem. The current leadership in the democrat party is marxist. Therefore every decision will be made based on a marxist world view. I have no tolerance for anything marxist. It is contrary to scripture and the founding of this country.

I also oppose the Republican party as well. They have not been conservative, they have compromised core values in order to keep their jobs. Not that they needed to but they felt they did.

For me it is not about opposing the other party but it is about opposing their world view. It is pure evil.
