    You can google this. http://www.catholic.org/news/hf/faith/story.php?id=51077

This made big news couple years ago:

The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains that "Since it rejects or denies the existence of God, atheism is a sin against the virtue of religion but the imputability of the offense can be significantly diminished in virtue of the intentions and the circumstances" (CCC#2125).

We pretty much know what Catholics believe, however, this doctrine you are presenting that anyone who repeats what Jesus said about not believing on Him or His name is already condemned is presenting an idea from satan is strange. You are the first Catholic I have debated who claimed as much when these Scriptures were presented. This is why I asked other Catholics to chime in. Maybe you are not the norm.

Do you always take things out of context?
    Here is what he said:
I believe atheists can be saved too. Trust the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and anyone can go to heaven, even an atheist. Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ.
God offers his free gift of salvation to atheists as much as he does to you and to others.
    Have you accepted it?

Yes and Amen. With all merit and credit to God.

By grace alone, in faith in Christ's saving work and not because of any merit on our part, we are accepted by God and receive the Holy Spirit, who renews our hearts while equipping and calling us to good works.

And we DO the good works. Loving God and Loving neighbor.

Why do you say now by faith in Christ? You have been arguing with me that faith in Christ is not necessary and that this idea of having to have faith in Christ for salvation is of satan.
