The Bible said in essence it is not good for Christians to drag each other's dirty laundry in open court because it opens them to mocking by the unbelievers, and brings the name of Christ to shame.

    Suing is not a sin.

Suing fellow Christians is adviced against.

The agencies are not Christians, and they are not Christian agencies, either.

I'm familiar with similar cases. Inefficient, incompetent, outright lazy state employees will falsify reports for months, sometimes years. Then when a child dies, and their failures are exposed, the state overreacts. All of a sudden parents are criminals that must be separated from their children at all costs, even if the cases are utterly without merit. In some jurisdictions no one but a social worker is allowed to testify in the temporary custody hearing. Parents cannot put up a defense at that point. The social worker is presenting purely hearsay information to a judge, the judge blindly rubber stamps it, and the child instantly belongs to the state. The world of the parents is turned upside down, and there is nothing they can do about it, except sue the state afterwards. How many parents have the money to pay a high-priced attorney to handle the case? How much damage has been done to innocent children in the process?
