Any chance we can do an online or offline draft?

I've never participated in a live draft before and I would be hesitant to try one as a fantasy league commissioner without any experience with one.

    KenH,

We can do an offline draft if you wish. If allowed, we can post our selections here on BB. We can open up threads with titles like:

    Fantasy draft-Round #1, etc...

I think we'll just stick with the autodraft this season. [IMG]

    KenH,

I have a question. Why do we have IP as a category if there is a IP limit? Most likely everyone is going to max out in IP...

Yes, there are limits for games played by the regulars and innings pitched by the pitchers. The limit on regulars probably won't be hard to handle since baseball is a pretty much every day game. Pitching will have to be watched as you can't just load up a full schedule of 10 pitchers every day. There will be a place to click at the bottom right of your team page where it will tell you whether you or over or under utilizing your players based on the limits for the season. It will help you to regulate your pitching so that you can pace yourself during the 6 months of the season.

There is strategy involved in fantasy play. It's not just a matter of coming up with the best players you can but also a matter of how you utilize them.

    Matt,

I understand why there are IP limits in roto ball. I'm asking why it is a scoring category? Is it just for us to kkep trak of our innings?

I'm confused. I do not find where innings pitched is a category that I have chosen for the Biblical Sluggers league.
