Fat Jokes part 2

    OK, this is based on the other poll. If you feel like it, post how overweight you are, so we can know what you're basing your opinion on.

    I weigh in at 325, but I am tall, so I'm only a little tubby, mostly in the belly. I have a t-shirt with the Pillsbury Doughboy and it says, "Poke me and die!" I got the nickname "Doughboy" where I used to work. They even made me a name tag with the Doubhboy on it.

    Now, there are fat jokes that are offensive, but not simply because they are about weight. Things like, "Your momma is so fat..."

    I'm about 6ft 6-1 tall and 350lbs give or take a few (I think it converts to around 343).

    I'm Aussie so no problem with any sort of joke, the joker just has to be prepared to take it as well as dish it out though :)

    I'm basing my opinion on the fact that they hurt. Knowing that, why intentionally say hurtful things. No I'm not fat.

    I am overweight, but I bike and walk a lot. I think fat jokes are funny along with Norvegian and Svedish jokes. :wavey:

    Good to see half the votes now with the right answer :thumbsup: :D Makes me wonder where the "I am not overweight, and take offense at them." voters are getting their info though?

    My wife found a video online and showed it to me yesterday, with this thread in mind. It was a joke about cerebral palsey. It was hilarious!

    The guy said, "I was arrested the other day for being drunk. I told the cops, 'I'm not drunk, I have cerebral palsey'."

    "That's some big words for a drunk guy!"

    "They kept me there for six days!"

    "Just what have you been drinking?!?"

    I don't know how much I weigh. I haven't been on a scale since the incident. madre up and bought one of those new fangled talkin' scales. I climbed aboard and the thing started to speak, "One at a time, please."

    All I know is I'm thankful that I also have big feet. Otherwise I'd never see my toes.

    I was always short growing up and wondered why it was ok for people to tease me about being small but I couldn't tease others about being fat or stuff like that.

    Of, course, I could take it or give it so I never saw the big deal.

    I was short and fat - so I got it from all directions. I still am short and fat, so the more things change, the more they stay the same. I am a lot more sassy now though.
