Fatal Accident

    About an hour ago, there was a fatal accident involving a pick-up truck and a motorcycle right in front of the gate of our community. The pick-up truck was making a left into our community when it hit the lead motorcycle that was part of a motorcycle club. The driver of the motorcycle was killed and his female passenger was seriously injured. Your prayers are appreciated. Thank you.

    Lakeland Man Killed

    So very sad. The driver of the truck and his wife were sitting in the road waiting for the accident scene investigators to arrive. There were about a dozen other motorcyclists who were in the group. They looked dazed. It was a warm day, so a few of us provided them with water and allowed them into our homes for bathroom breaks. The road in front of our community was closed to traffic for hours. Life is fleeting.
