One of my VERY favorite oldies: Unchained Melody (Righteous Brothers)

Wonderful music never goes out of style, does it? What are your favorite oldies?

Hoping to start a thread where we can go listen to our favorite golden oldies on the internet. :)

This sounds like a lot of fun, LadyEagle, but Pete's right.

I was skimming the TV channels yesterday when I saw VH1C was showing "classics vs. current" music. I turned it on to see Pearl Jam and I said to myself, "Yuck, that's the current stuff I don't like."

But NO! Pearl Jam was the classic!

Would you set some guidelines so that we don't go wandering all over the past century or just talk about last week?

    White Room - Cream

 Anyone else apart from me think I'm keeping the letter of "Okay, how about 1940s, 1950s, 1960s" but maybe not the spirit? :D
