Federal Spending Up 40 Percent Since 2019

    Social Security and Medicaid should not be part of the regular budget - as those are self-funded.

    Defense is on of the few items - that is actually authorized in the Constitution.

    And as I mentioned in another tread - there are many items in the defense budget that could be cut - WITHOUT comprising our defense.

    I am guessing that you meant Medicare, not Medicaid.
