5 minutes in to this the black preacher says the black community sees Obama as a messiah.

"messiah" simply means "anointed one". It is not the Republicans who have anointed O'bama but the democrats/leftists/socialists/fascists/homosexuals/baby killers/ etc.

From your definition it appears that you O'bamamites are the ones guilty of blasphemy. It was the adulation by which he was greeted in the primaries and to a lesser degree [now that people have seen his "deer caught in the headlights look"] since the election. That adulation and the "something crawling up the leg" whenever he opens his mouth that have given him the little Hitler god complex. So again for emphasis: it appears that you O'bamamites are the ones guilty of blasphemy.

We discussed this back when it happened and Farrakhan didn't call Obama the Messiah, he said the Messiah is speaking by sending Obama.

Even if Farrahkan (and he didn't) did say that, he would be A (singular) follower and not followers (plural).

In this clip, the preacher says those who embrace black liberation theology see Obama as a God. This is not a supporter of Obama calling him the Messiah, this is someone accusing his supporters of calling him the Messiah. I can accuse you of anything I want but it doesn't make it true.

The clip I provided a link to said the black community sees Obama as the messiah. And it wasn't an accusation it was more of an explanation of black men and why they are where they are with religion.

The "black community" is not a monolithic thing. African Americans have diverse opinions. They are not a single entity.

Farrahkan said: "You are the instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn't care anything about. That's a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking." There's no doubt he was speaking about Obama and, if he did not mean to proclaim Obama as the savior, then he certainly phrased this proclamation very poorly! His followers understood it to mean Obama was the oject of the praise.

You are correct. I have not seen any Obama supporters calling him any such names. It seems the detractors are simply trying to smear him in a round about way

You are correct on this also.

This thread is beyond the pale, I have not even read the comments, but the OP is EXTREMELY offensive and has no place here on the BB. This thread is closed and YES, I am very upset that this thread was even posted here.
