find a new country to live in

    I wonder how many of you feel if it was possable to find a new country to move in and let the Riff-Raff have at it in this country. It would surely be nice if, but not possable to discover a new land to dwell in. We wouldn't need so much monatary riches as long as we could keep the leaches from invadeing our new home. The only home I know of outside of my little mind that we need is HEAVEN.

    I will some day be living (eternally) in a land that is perfect in every way. Until then, the USA is the best we have on this foreign land. "This world is not my home. I'm just passing through."

    Since people in other countries are trying to get to this one, why would I want to go to a country they want to leave? OK, so not everyone wants to come here, but the grass is not always greener on the other side.

    Must confess, I've heard about Texas. I've only been there once. I was flying into Fort Worth and plane ended up in Dallas and I had to take a taxi back to Fort Worth. They shared an airport at that time. Hope I got the cities correct......:tongue3:

    Exactly. The day that there are more people wanting to leave America than come here is the day I'll be thinking about moving to another country.

    This reminds me of a joke.

    An Irishman, a Frenchman and an Englishman were walking along when they happened upon a lamp. The Irishman picked up the lamp and rubbed it and out popped a genie. This genie said, "Since there are 3 of you, I'll give each of you one wish." The Irishman said, "I'm a farmer, my dad was a farmer and my son will also farm. I want the land to be forever fertile in Ireland."

    With a blink of the Genies eye, "FOOM," the land in Ireland was forever made fertile for farming. The Frenchman was amazed, so he said, "I want a wall around France, so that nobody can soil our precious country."

    Again, with the blink of the Genies eye,"POOF," there was a huge wall around France.

    The Englishman says, "Im very curious. Please tell me more about this wall."

    The Genie explains, "Well, it is about 150 feet high, 50 feet thick and completely surrounds France. Nothing can get in or out."

    The Englishman says, "Fill it with water."

    Canada or the UK would be my choice. But now that the Neo-Cons no longer are in power to pursue their goal of world supremacy I'd rather stay here in the land of the free(er).

    That has been tried in cities in the U.S. and it has always returned to evil. It did not stay good for very long. If churches cannot keep from fighting what would make one think that cities and especially countries could.

    The USA is my country and I'm not going to abandon it and turn it over to the wicked without fighting like a wildcat. Let the evil and wickedness find somewhere else to roost. Our ancestors paid for this country and our freedoms wtih their life's blood. Why should I turn tail and run?

    The Neo-Con objective was to maintain US world supremacy at all costs. Is that really your objective. Somehow I think people having that objective (e.g. Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan, Adolph Hitler) would be unlikely residents of heaven.

    Acyually, I don't believe that all or even most Republicans supported the NeoCon philosophy. I think most didn't know anything about it. That's why it was so dangerous. Oh, please stop trying to hang the title of abortion supporter on me. How many times do I have to say I am against abortion. I'm simply against the way Republicans have used this issue to do a lot of damage to the church just so they could get reelected.
