But how many times did we have 4 storms all on the map at the same time? The cloud band crossing Florida and going up the east coast is the remnant of Harvey. The one striking the coast of Mexico just north of the Yucatan Peninsula was Katia, the one over Cuba was Irma, and the one still in the Atlantic is Jose.

Average global surface temperatures of the oceans have risen 1.5 degrees since 1950. To raise the temperature of 140,000,000 square miles of ocean surface takes a LOT of heat. Global warming is a fact. What is not a fact is that we, humans, are causing it. It is much more likely due to the 1100 year cycle of the sun. (This explains why Mars is also warming up and losing its polar ice caps, which cannot be blamed on people driving SUVs.)

If everybody would just relax and check the facts they would see that the present warming trend has leveled out, and will begin to decline sometime around 2070, and the earth will get much cooler than it is now. It has been going on since the creation and we are all still here.
