For All the Never Trumpers

Some of us know that character does count. Does anyone remember the era in which Adrian Rogers preached along those lines?
I can accept and appreciate God's being gracious and merciful in allowing, and possibly even using, Mr Trump to do good work. A moral role model he is not, however.
I have no intentions of maligning the man. That is ungodly (Romans 13:1-7;1Tim 2:1-5). I must pray for him. I also pray that a better man comes along to fill the office of POTUS.
The reality of this issue is that one need not be totally for or against him. That is a false dichotomy.

 

All of them at National Review seem to be Never Trumpers. Trump is a lot better than Hillary. He is too old now to be much of a playboy. I don't care for his owning casinos. On the other hand the First Lady is very intelligent and always dressed up--one of the prettiest women in the world. Even his little boy is often dressed in a suit and a tie.

90% of Republicans are very pro-Trump! Why worry about the Never Trumpers--hey, will you Never Trumpers please vote for the other GOP candidates right down to dog catcher?

 

IF the qualification for being president is to be morally perfect in both deeds and words, than NONE were ever real presidents!

 

A note for consideration:
If, IF Trump were as bad/evil/treasonous/lying etc as the left/never-Trumpers claim daily, none of the verbal diarrhea spewed forth by them would ever be spoken except in private hushed whispers, and then with extreme caution that he (Trump) NOT get word of it and retaliate.

Somehow I cannot picture Hitler, or any of the despots of the world attributed to Trump's personna, not answering his critics if they were as "BOLD" and stupid (if they really believe what they say!) as the left.
In all likelihood the first to blab nationally his disdain for Hitler never got a 2nd chance to elaborate.

However I seriously doubt that this paradox has ever been considered!!
