Use Firefox browser because you wish to be free of all those annoying popups ya get from IE? But are ya finding more & more popups showing up? Well, here's a page that shows ya how to block'em completely. I've used it for awhile and it WORX! No more downloading popup blockerzz that use up memory! This is a change of Firefix settings to block ads w/o adding an outside prog!

Although his work isn't copyrighted, the gent who discovered this trick, Pete Bevin, deserves full credit for his work.

The Firefox location bar to which he refers is the window in which the URL appears for the site you've selected. Everything else is self-explanatory. Any questions? PM me!

I use the extension Popups Must Die! (yes, that's the name of it), as well as Disable Targets for Downloads.

    Works like a charm.

Thanks! Got it, though I rarely have any kind of pop ups in Firefox.
