Unscripted Debate Offers Voters a Rare Opportunity to Hear Issues Not Discussed in the Exclusive, Two-Party Controlled Debates.

A rare debate among four vice presidential candidates - from the Libertarian, Constitution and Green parties, as well as Ralph Nader’s independent ticket - will take place on Tuesday, October 5, at the John Patrick Theatre at Baldwin Wallace College in Cleveland, Ohio, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Debate organizers say the debate between Richard Campagna, Chuck Baldwin, Patricia LaMarche and Peter Camejo will offer voters a stark contrast to the watered-down and scripted banter expected from the Edwards-Cheney debate taking place the same day in the same city.

The debate is unusual not only because so many diverse viewpoints will be represented, but also because of its format. All questions for the candidates will come from Baldwin College students. Following the hour and a half long debate, there will be an intermission and then the debate participants and audience will watch a live broadcast of the staged, exclusive “debate” between Edwards and Cheney. At approximately 10:30 p.m., following the conclusion of the Edwards-Cheney exchange, the four vice presidential candidates gathered at Baldwin Wallace College will offer their rebuttals.

It looks like Nader's running mate didn't show up.

Seeing this third-party debate has confirmed my suspicions as to why the two major parties don't want them in the national debates. If the third-parties were invited, then the two major parties would have to explain to America why they are destroying our nation.

Really? Wow. I didn't even see it. It appears that one of them didn't even show up. I wonder why? [IMG]

You still have time to catch the third-party VP candidates response to the major party VP candidates debate, just click on the link above and you can tune into the stream.

The third-party presidential candidates debate is tomorrow, and will be covered by C-SPAN, and they will also have a moderated discussion similar to tonights major party VP debate on PBS on Friday night.

But, I have no interest in what they have to say.

    I didn't think you would. ;)

Most "conservative" voters in America would rather continue to follow the status quo and maintain their party loyalty, in our "two-party democracy". It's alot easier than having to weigh the real conservative alternatives and take the matter of who to vote for before the Lord in prayer. I know, I used to be proud to vote a straight Republican ticket.

I took this issue to the Lord in prayer a long time ago, and came to a different conclusion than you. This has nothing to do with my prayer life and my Christianity, and for you to say so is inappropriate. I don't question your salvation because I think you are making the wrong choice. I believe you are misguided and wrong. But, that is as far as it goes with me.

I never questioned your salvation, I said "Most 'conservative' voters", and I believe that is true, because I used to vote like that, and I believe that most of those who fill up the churches in America vote like that. It's simply a matter of Republican vs. Democrat, and usually depends on whcih party's playbook the pastor of their church is preaching out of.

I'm glad the only one we have to answer to for our vote is the Lord God! [IMG]

Grubbs, no one cares about the third party lackeys. Baldwin is just a parachurch wannabe who has forsaken his so-called "call" for political activism. I know of swamps with less scum than the CP.

    Hyperspace,

Didn't you say you were a Peroutka supporter? I find it revealing that a supporter of the so-called "conservative Christian" candidate would use such vulgar insinuations in your language when conversing with others. Truthfully, I have met liberal Democrat atheist who are more respectful and Christian in the way they talk to others than you are.

Edited by Joseph Botwinick since the vulgar statement by Hyperspace has appropriately been deleted and my statement now makes no sense in this context. Thank You moderators.

I didn't think they were appropriate, and I wouldn't have posted that, but, I'm not him, or his keeper. I'm glad the moderator removed his post without shutting down the entire thread.

Why was my post removed? Just because I said Joseph acts like Dick Cheney? If the Mods think the name Dick Cheney should be banned then so be it. I would think that Joseph would like that name since he supports him.
