    I agree. Too often people lean to political parties and politicians rather than letting their voice simply reflect the teachings of Christ. But we have to realize this happens as people tend to look to the world for answers. It is only human, I guess. Still, we are called to a greater purpose.

    First question is: Why is a person committed to a certain political party?
    1) My parent (s) were a member of that Party
    2) I agree with one single issue that I consider very important
    3) The politician did something specific for me so I owe them my vote
    4) A well know individual politician has influenced me
    5) My school teacher said that......
    6)


    I knew of a female who said she voted for Hillary Clinton - simply because she was a female!
    This same individual wanted to register with the Working Families Party because they are for working families. (The WFP is more liberal than the Dems!)


    Myself - I joined the NY Conservative Party - Why? I read the literature and agreed with at least 90 % of the platform.
