    It's ridiculous that this is happening. Of COURSE one can ask it to stop!

    It annoys me to no end when I see people who can't do this. Kids are 50,000 yrs old and still coloring or playing on the floor, the adults are actually HANDING them crayons and stuff and making no attempt to teach them to stand when others are standing, listen when others are listening, etc..

    When even the adults are so thoughtless and selfish that they'd not care enough about others in the service, I have to wonder why they bother coming? Why not just stay home and watch a televised service if they can't handle being around other humans?

    I remember a lot of sermons from my childhood.. and I was one on the floor under our pew with crayons..

    As a matter of fact, every time I see a coloring picture of The Incredible Hulk, it takes me back to a sermon that our pastor preached on a Sunday night about Jesus walking on the sea. Of course I was only about 5 or 6 then...

    OK.. back to reality... Now we just ship the kids off to Jr. Church...
