Hey Cop (and Jim) I'm just a few miles up I-25 in God's country - central Wyoming.

I like the image of "In a world going to hell, I don't have time to worry about (plug in the law)". Wise pastor not to get so hung up on non-biblical externals.

And Jim, we've disagreed on a host of subjects already, but still brothers.

    Enjoy the Western Hospitality here!

I like this guy, writes just like me. He types more to explain his abbrevs. than it would take to type the word. :D

Now, that is conservatism at work [IMG]

And most of us "fundies" are not offended by the short-hand. "ifb" (independent fundamental baptist) works easier for me!

And I PRAY that your SBC church is "fundamental" too!

    Dr. Bob,

While I respecdt your right to view central Wyoming as "God's country" I must respectfully disagree with as personally I find central PA to be God's country :D

As for what we have disagreed on, all I can recall is pretty much the Bible version issue, and as long as Jesus is your Saviour then yeppers, we be Brothers [IMG]

I still do appreciate your advise from an earlier problem we briefly discussed.

er, uh, er, excuse me, fellas.

But isn't WV known as "Almost Heaven"

And Jim, that doesn't mean that just because it is just south of PA. ;) [IMG] :D

uuuuuummmmmmmmmm well.... yeah according to some West Virginia (the place I call home) is known as Almost Heaven, but then everything around Central PA could be classified with that tag :D

WV, it's kinda funny, I've never lived there, but have family there, used to have some here that moved here from there, but two are in the ground and the other two are now in Florida, yet I have always said that Huntington, WV is home.

    Hey Jim Ward,
I lived in Coudersport,Potter County whose sign says God's country. It was nice,I knew some fine people there. But I'm really hoping the USA is God's country.I'm hoping we repent and come back to God.We have other countries sending missionaries here now.
We need saved and unsaved showing up in blue jeans to our church. We need em with ear rings on and off. We need to concentrate on the majors and not the minors.
How unchristian and anti great commission it is to kick out or look down our noses at someone by the way the dress or by thier physical appearance. Could it be some unsaved person gets invited to our church by one of our blue jean ear ring wearing members and gets saved.
We are walking talking sermons and witnesses whether we like it or not. The unsaved watch our lives long before they listen to our words.
So I guess in priciple we mostly agree,I just hope we put it into practice.
