Just before I was saved it was popular to wear a WWJD bracelet, to remind us to think, What Would Jesus Do? And with all the Ear Tickling pests in the pulpit, the truth was often, too often, distorted. We must learn to study our Bibles the way Yahweh intended us to. For depth and understanding, we begin this Stump Speech in the New Testament, working to identify Jesus, the man. In John 1:1-3 we see that Jesus is Yahweh and cannot be properly understood as only the Son of Father God. Jesus is, not was, Jehovah-Jireh or, more accurately, Yahweh-yireh, YHWH. Jesus is the Creator of all that is and of all that will ever be.

To begin to understand what Jesus would or will do we must first find our way to Salvation. I find this best done in the Life Application Bible Commentary inspired to be written first by Yahweh, the books we know as the New Testament! As a Lost Man, to me, the Old Testament was gibberish, as was much of the New. But, with the Holy Spirit (and you could not have sold me that for a thousand dollar gift in my direction) tugging at my heart and leading me, I made it through and understood the Book of John, in general. And the first time I saw the short version of the Roman Road, Rom. 3:10, 23, Rom. 6:23, Rom. 5:8 and Rom. 10:9. 10, I understood also.

I spent two years, studying, every night and driving my wife crazy as I needed to know! I read the Bible, I ate the Bible, I drank the Bible and I became a fanatic for God! I still am. But, until my teacher, the Holy Spirit of God, taught me how to connect the Old and the New Testaments I did not have the sense to just open my mouth and to let God speak while I went and hid behind the cross. All I or any other person can do is to be willing, there is nothing else!

So, what would Jesus do? He loved the people he had selected... as one selects a pup or a kitten from a litter, and He loved them so much that He sent Moses to represent Him, to speak for Him and to lead them into, righteousness. Joshua led them into the Promised Land and we must read the Exodus and Joshua 1:1-9 together. God/ Jesus did not call us to be cowards to stand still while we see our children and wives slaughtered. At the same time, there were giants in the land and He, for the love of righteousness, led the Israelites to kill every one of them, man, woman and child.

Here we stir the Pretenders into action, immediately! “A Just God would not murder the women and the children!” And I say, “Read the Word of God!” If one sentence of the text is untrue, none of it can be trusted. i.e. The New World Translation, this work is known to be an aberration by all studied Christians and some Jehovah's Witness' wont even use it. The Holy Spirit was not with the team that did the translation and that is the reason it disagreed with the other 172 translations of that day.

All of the Christian Faith relies on one thing, God! Jesus, being the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, is that God, always spelt, that's Texan for spelled, with a capital G. God, absolutely is Love, He is Righteous and He is Just! Justice is where the Ear Ticklers go astray. The only Loving God is also the only God of Justice and justice requires wrath! And the scriptures, the Word of God, teach us, it is a terrible thing to be found in the hand of the Wrathful God and in the Revelation of Jesus, the Christ, we see that He will rule the Earth with a rod of iron for a thousand years.

This article could go on and on and never be finished but I need to study and I'll leave it here for now.

May God bless you me and ours with His truth.

"Pests in the Pulpit" Im going to use that......funny that they become more of an obstacle to ones understanding of God's way than they help. You have just confirmed what I always knew.... Read & study Scripture & rely on the WORD & the HS as teacher.

I will tell you that I have done this & have grown tremendously. I only go to men anymore for suggestions & not instruction.

I am in regular attendance a a member of the local Family of God and have been blessed and plagued as a result. The pastor, just departed, was indwelt with and by the Holy Spirit and has been led into the Mission Field. Our current pastor would not be there except that one member prayed throughout the Pastor Search process for God's will over all else because the vooote, one week before the final decision. One week later the six reversed in spite of prayers to change the single vote if he was wrong.

Aside from that, following the Holy Spirit has seen me moved in location and Church to the point of being thrown out of a church by the pastor. That one had his license removed, less than a year later by the Missionary Baptist Association, in spite of my prayers for his families well being. Following the Holy Spirit is an adventure but the result is, often, not as we expect.

May God bless you and yours.
