    Hello,

I for one am a living breathing testimony of a person who was brought to Jesus Christ through this ministry. And since that time (being about 3 1/2 years ago) I have been a faithful follower of Christ. I DO learn and rely on Gods Holy unchanging word in my life and DO rely on it daily. But you must know that for some it takes different ministries to reach people, and you will never change my mind otherwise because I am living proof of that. I also need to point out that this video was just a stepping stone to reach out to me to help me understand the gospel. And I in no way would ever use it to replace the Bible. Also the first thing that I wanted to do was find a Bible preaching church so that I may know more about this person that they call Jesus, and I have been going ever since and have learned so much through God's word. And now not only do I know who Jesus is but I also have a personal relationship with Him.

I have been actively involved in the Jesus Video Project and have given several times my personal testimony on how that video has changed my life. It showed me personally and visually what God has done in giving His only son to this dying world... A Living Sacrafice!! And I'm sorry that at that time it was not the Bible itself that reached me. But do you also know that the Jesus video is presented word for word from the book of Luke. My question to you would be...Have you seen the video? Do you not understand that it is written from and speaks word for word from the Bible itself not just some fiction view on the life of Jesus.

I don't mean to sound bitter here. But why can't someone be saved through such a ministry like this. I praise God for Him using this video to reach out to me when nothing else did. God knows our hearts our personalities and how exactly He will reach us. And for me it was the Jesus Video Project.

Also when you are dealing with these third world countries they can not read or write. This video is presented to them in their own native language and I have heard that some are totally amazed and touched in a very special way because of the fact that they are speaking their language. For someone to take the time to learn these languages and translate them so that they may share the gospel to these people so that they might understand is such a blessing.

If you have not, I encourage those of you interested to please watch this video and somehow get involved in this project. God can and will use anyone and anything to bring people to Him to add to His Kingdom.

    Thanks and God bless,
    FYG

    P.S.
    I agree the truth hurts!
    And Gods word is ever
    unchanging!! Thank you JESUS!

Is that the one that says to be prepared to give an answer with gentleness and respect and asks "who are you to judge another's servant?

If it is, I think the better question would be, "have you ever read the Bible" because you seem to be ignoring these passages.

Actually, toddy, the reason behind the Jesus film is that many people in these developing countries can't read in the first place.

Better to dramatize the story in a way they can understand than give them a book they can't read.

The only thing worse than sarcasm is bad sarcasm. Comedy is best left to professionals.

Actually, it has nothing to do with this. It's about false doctrine and those who teach it.

Now, if you could demonstrate that the Jesus film contains false doctrine, you might have a point.

Several missionaries have died delivering this movie to the lost. Hardly what I would call
    the "easy way out".

Millions have been affected by this film and hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, have come to Christ through it. Doesn't sound like it's lost it's impact to me.

Depends. If God wants his word spread through film, He'll make it powerful enough. By the testimonies I've heard concerning the film, it sounds like He's done just that.

Again, several missionaries have died to bring this film to the lost. Exactly how much more "out of their way" would you like them to go?

    Dude, you need a nap.

How then do you explain the fact that people are being converted?

    No, but Paul did.

No, He had Paul do it, instead.

Actually, the film is just a vehicle to explain the Gospel in a simple way to people who have not heard. Once the film is over, we still need missionaries to take care of followup and discipleship.

Don't worry, there's still plenty for missionaries to do.

You seem to have no problem expressing yourself on the internet. Are you saying that if the opportunity arose, you wouldn't share the Gospel with someone over the internet?

I used to think you weren't a bigot until God proved me wrong.

    Mike
