    Are any of you familiar with his books ? He wrote historical fiction with boys in mind as his main readers . They are very interesting for old people like me as well . I have only read :

    The Young Carthaginian ( 220 B.C. )

    Beric the Briton ( A.D. 61 )

    The Dragon and the Raven ( 870 )

    Wulf the Saxon ( 1066 )
