    Very cool.

I have umpired youth traveling baseball games, but it was years ago.

Very cool. Have only umpired church softball games and that's enough for me. My son worked in campus recreation during his undergraduate years, and umpired intramural games for three years before moving up to supervisor his senior year.

The tough thing is that they had to ref all sports -- flag football, basketball (probably the most difficult), soccer, volleyball and softball (and more). The good thing was that if there were any obscenities, the player was immediately ejected - no questions asked. If it happened during playoffs, the entire team was disqualified - ouch! Kind of wish they would do that for presidential hopefuls...

Ref all kinds of sports. As they must wear a bunch of hats. Good for them though.
