A very similar situation occurred a few years ago in Los Angeles. When this type of things was attempted at Bob Jones University the school sent out packed lunches to the protesters.

That was a great response ... a great turning of the other cheek.

Sorry, I was unclear - these were two separate incidents.

Well, what about turning over the tables of the money changers who made a mockery of God's house?

You pacifists forget that one day Jesus Christ Himself will come back with a sword to destroy His enemies.

Mark my words, the left is emboldened with the Obama victory (in the very first week) and this will be the first of many outrages like this to come from the Marxists who want to destroy Christians in this country. A civil war will come, but it won't be race based next time around. I see it coming. It's happened against Christians in other countries and could very well be approaching our own. Millions of Christians have died and been persecuted because of their faith the world over. America is not immune.
Those so-called Christians who voted for their wallets instead of morality will rue the day they cast their votes for ungodliness.

This has been happening for years - it is not a first.

Are you paranoid or a prophetess? You gloom and doom is very dark indeed.

How did Jesus say we are to treat our enemies?

Show me where Jesus said to kill anyone?

What are the questions at the last judgement in Matthew?

Seems I remember something about returning good for evil.

    What are your suggestions?

Tell that to the millions of Christians being persecuted and butchered all over the world right now. Tell that to those who suffered genocide in Turkey or those 6 million Jews.

Pray for them. Also to wipe the dust off our feet if they will not hear the Gospel.

No one is advocating killing anyone. The left, Marxists, Communists, Islamofascists, etc., all worship the god of death, not Christians. However, Christians do have the right (until the Constitution is amended by those in power) to bear arms and protect themselves.

    Regarding what specific point?

    No one said not to.

I have none. Each Christian will have to decide individually whether or not to protect his family and his life or not. I am warning my brothers and sisters here so they will not be caught off guard when the "perilous times" come to America. And they will.

Charge them with civil rights violations. Prosecute them, then sue them.

I have no doubt that some here would say that would be "unChristian."

There are laws against criminal trespass. However, I wonder if our churches should declare themselves to be private property (which they are actually) and not allow trespassers (visitors). I don't think anyone should be allowed to disrupt church services or frighten or endanger members.

The problem with that is that some liberal activist judge is likely to review the case and determine that you do not have "standing" to bring a lawsuit against them. Just ask Phillip Berg....

The Apostle Paul, who wrote under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, a damning indictment of homosexuality [Romans 1], also wrote:

Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

What does "possible" mean here? Let some violent group come into a church to disrupt it? Vandalize the place? Grab children and harm them? Do we 'turn the other cheek' on all this?

It May Be Happening Throughout the World, But....

First I want to give your word a great big AMEN

Then, I want to acknowledge your word. It is not at all impossible for the persecution of Christians to take place here in America. In fact, if we believe the Scripture, America, as you say, is not immune and in the last days it too will face death and imprisonment for their stated faith.

Again, we can't say exactly when these things will happen, but, WE KNOW THEY WILL TAKE PLACE!!!

    Pastor Paul

Christ's Second Coming is totally different from questions of war and violence caused by man. They are totally different things.

I would think by pulling fire alarms in a crowded place of thousands they have committed a crime. This should be investigated, and people should be charged. I don't understand why they weren't grabbed and held until the police could arrive.

Not necessarily according to the whole counsel of the Bible regarding war; but rather, according to your opinion based upon your personal experience and feelings as we established in the thread about Just War recently. ;)

    Whatever happened to-

And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you. For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him. And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them. If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you. And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast. And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

    Lv 20:8-16

    ???????

As I posted elsewhere, if we had enforced the laws that were (and in many cases, still are) on the books regarding these perversions it would still be in the closet. But one you crack Pandora's Box, it's nigh impossible to shut it.

I suspect that in many rural areas that these perverts would be escorted to the door.:wavey:
