    So no one but you has studied the bible as you have?
    Everyone has missed it but you and maybe Mary Baker Eddy?
    Whoever does not piece random verses together like you are doing must be a scoffer?
    We have been in the last days since the cross,but you have received the special signal that it is only now?
    Got it....

    Dear Iconoclast,

    It's either support your objection to my post with merit.... by refuting my Biblical Stand and posting your contrasting view with Scriptural Analogies... or others might see that you are just Bluffing your way out using Ad Hominem tactical maneuvering... and by being condescending.

    Just to let you know, I am also a Christian just like you, is case you are not aware.Thanks

    As I have posted.... This thread is about Genesis -The Beginning - A Different Perspective... from your Ancient Traditional View, of course. So, what is the square face for, Iconolast?
    .
    Prove me wrong instead of harping out there. I am open to be corrected.

    God bless

    You can interpret the holy scripture that way.
    God created us to understand language. Starting with Adam. And reveled the 7 days of preparing the earth for man to the people of Isreal in their language.

    Dear Readers,

    We live in a Multiverse.

    Gen 1:6-8 shows the 1st heaven (Adam’ world) was made on the 2nd Day. Gen 2:4 shows other heavenS (plural) being made on the 3rd Day. That's a Multiverse, containing at least 2 or more separate heavens / universes.

    Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worldS (multiverse) were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

    Gen 2:4-7 also shows that Adam was made on the SAME 3rd Day as the Big Bang of our Cosmos, but Unbelievers (ToE) tell us ancient men (Moses & others) authored the Scripture?. I don't actually think that is true.

    There is no interpretation needed since Science has measured the time since the Big Bang at 13.8 Billion years ago in man’s time, and God shows it was the 3rd Days or Ages ago, which means that EACH of God's Days is some 4.5 Billion years in length, in man's time. God's Truth is the Truth Scientifically, Historically, and in EVERY other way, IF we can understand God's Holy Word.

    Only God, the Supreme Intelligence of Creation, the Creator who CANNOT Lie would get these things scientifically correct, even today.

    I like the FACT that Gen 2:4 shows that the Big Bang of our world was on the 3rd Day and the FIRST Stars of our Cosmos did NOT put forth their Light until the 4th Day. Gen 1:16

    Science has recently learned that it took Hundreds of Millions of years AFTER the Big Bang BEFORE the FIRST Stars put forth their Light. It's PROOF that ONLY God could have written Genesis.

    God and true science discoveries are in agreement..... and the false ToE and some Religionist are the odd men out.

    God bless

    We live in a universe, not a multiverse.
    It is not. Millions of years old.
    These ideas are a perversion of scripture.

    Dear Iconoclast,

    Where have YOU been? I have posted evidence from Scripture, Science, and History and NOT a single refute has come back to me. You have nothing but BLUFF.

    WHEN do you think you will get around to posting evidence of ANY thing but Disagreement, which you have with EVERY other who do not subscribe to your Ancient Traditional Goatherder’s Theology.

    Taking random verses out of context,posting them, and offering sci-fy posts does not make a scriptural case.
    I just identified several errors offered. No need to shoot the messenger.

    The evidence is that the universe is billions of years old. And that does not need to negate the 6 earth days of the 7 that God miraculously made the earth inhabitalbe and made man.

    Dear Readers,

    Since God sees the end from the beginning, Isa 46:10 He wrote the complete HISTORY of His Seven Days in the first 34 verses of Genesis. ALL of the rest of the Bible refers BACK to One of the 7 Days of Creation, shown in it's Entirety. It opens up many of the mysteries which Ancient Goatherder's Traditional Theology (and we know few of them here - see opposing posters above) could NOT have understood and it reveals the Literal God because it shows us the FUTURE since No man of the time could have told us of the events at the end of the present 6th Day, which will NOT take place until AFTER Jesus returns to this planet.

    It also explains WHY God used the Hebrew language. It shows that His blessing of this Shabath Day is FUTURE,since it is written in Hebrew ImPerfect Tense, which means that the action is not yet complete.

    Today 2019, we are still living at Gen 1:27 as we speak Today, and the rest of Genesis 1:28-31 takes place AFTER Jesus returns at Armageddon.

    Below, are few more Biblical Proof Texts for my oppositions to study, seriously - instead of trying to defend their flawed understanding, based on willful ignorance:

    Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

    This is a Future event which will take place in the thousand year reign of Christ on this Earth. At that time, Humans will be given dominion or rule over EVERY living thing that moves on this Earth. That includes Mosquitoes, Viruses and Sharks. It is something which has NEVER taken place on Planet Earth Before, as the next verses show:

    Gen 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and EVERY TREE, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

    Again this is a prophecy of the Future since we will NOT eat from the Tree of Life until All Christians are in the New Heaven. Rev 22:14

    Gen 1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

    Another future happening, except the end of this prophecy is clearly shown in:

    Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

    When you read the verse in context, this event happens AFTER Jesus returns to this Earth at Armageddon. Isa 11:1-7

    Gen 1:31 And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

    Finally God's Creation of the perfect 3rd Heaven is complete and Earth is Safe for a thousand years. Then, and only then, will the God, Who sees the end from the beginning, says, It is very good, at the end of the present 6th Day of labor in which God is making a perfect heaven and filling it with His Immortal Children, called Christians.

    God bless

    Dear Readers,

    Here is a brief chronology of the 7 Days or Ages of Creation of the THIRD Heaven:.

    Before the first Day, God (Trinity) created air and ground without form and darkness/death was upon everything He had made apart from Him, so God said: Let there be Light. Gen 1:1-3

    Day 1- YHWH or Jesus (the Son of God) came forth into the physical world to defeat the darkness which was upon everything God had created apart from his spiritual realm. The Image of the Son is brighter than the Noonday Sun. Gen 1:3

    Day 2- Jesus made a firmament or boundary of Adam's world and placed it in the midst or middle of the Water, and God called it "heaven". Gen 1:6-8

    Day 3- Jesus caused the BB to happen and AFTER it cooled off He made Adam's Earth and another two HeavenS, but before He made the plants, He made man of the dust of the ground. Gen 2:4-7

    Note: Our own Present Earth is like "Johny comes lately" and was made / completed for inhabitation thereof only some 4.53B years ago.

    Day 4
    - The first Stars of our 2nd Heaven put forth their light into our Cosmos, which began as the Big Bang, on the 3rd Day Gen 2:4

    Day 5- Our own heaven and the earth which are now is completed. Every living creature that moves was created and brought forth from the waters by the TRINITY, on the 5th Day. Gen 1:21

    Day 6- Jesus makes the beasts of the field and birds and brought them to Adam and names them... and then Jesus makes Eve. Adam sins and is cast out from the Garden. A&E have two sons and Cain kills Abel. Seth was born and during his generations, men started to call upon the name of the Lords (Gen 4:26) Then God speaks AGAIN. Let US make man in OUR Image.

    Gen 1:26 ; 5:1-2 Adam and Eve were BOTH "created in God's Image"- In Christ. They were born again Spiritually, just as ALL of mankind MUST be born again in order to inherit the Third Heaven, the object of the 6 Creative Days.

    This brings us up to the present TIME, today, 2019 for God is STILL creating Adam (Heb-mankind) in His Image or in Christ, TODAY.

    The end of the present 6th Day is in the Future because the events of Gen 1:28-31 are Prophecy of things which will not happen until AFTER Jesus returns to this Earth at the end of the present 6th Day.

    Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

    Isaiah 11 tells us that AFTER Jesus returns the Lion will eat Straw like the Ox. Isa 11:7 Has everyone heard that the Lion will lay down by the Lamb when Jesus returns? Now, you know that it will happen TODAY, on the present 6th Age. The 7th Day or God's rest is FUTURE. Heb 4:9

    Our God is an awesome God.

    God revealed Genesis to Moses around 2500 years after Adam. In his prayer Moses said: Psa.90:v.4 - a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past. In my vision, the different perspective of creation in Genesis, it consists in the mystery that involves deep secrets of God in everything that was created by the power of His Word. About this, John the Apostle, wrote: John 1:v.1- 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. --> Here the first great mystery - the Word is the invisible God - God is Spirit - and what God revealead to Moses in this first moment was that He - the Word - was in the beginning. Actually, God Father was presenting Jesus to Moses. Gen.1:v.1-3 - 1 In the beginning - in JESUS - God created the heavens - the 1st, and 2nd and 3rd heavens, and the heaven of the heavens - and the earth. John1:v.2-3 - 2 The same was in the beginning - in JESUS - with God. 3 All things were made by Him - by JESUS -; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. Hebrews 1:v.1-2 - 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days - last two days or last two thousand years - spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;

    And God said: Genesis 1:v.3 - And God said - God is a title, the Word is God - : Let there be light: and there was light. 1John 1:v.5 - God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. Who really claim "Let there be light, and there was light, was JESUS. By the way, JESUS is the Greater Light.

    Here goes a different perspective of the beginning. In Revelation 1:v. 8, JESUS calimed saying: 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

    In Christ JESUS
    Oseas

    God wrote the Bible with His terms, not ours. In order to understand One MUST study to show thyself approved unto God.

    The Un-Scriptural idea, that the 6 Creative Days and the 1 Day of Rest in Gen 1&2, are 24 hour periods of Time, is refuted by Scripture. The 7th Day has no End. Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

    Why others continue to insist and wanted this 7th Day of God (Shabath) to be a 24hrs Day is beyond me and in my opinion, Biblically ignorant.

    The Sabbath was created for us, not for God himself, since, God does not grow tired or need rest. He rested (past tense) as an example to us so that we would rest on the Shabath day, just as he did, ETERNALLY.

    Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it (set apart): because that in it He had rested from ALL His work which God created and made.

    Notice that this verse tells us that God rests from ALL of His work on the 7th Day. IF God had already rested in the past from ALL of His work, it would be too late to become a Christian, since it takes the AGREEMENT of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to CREATE a new creature in Christ Spiritually. Genesis 1:26 AND Jhn 14:16.

    Continue to study and realize that I am edifying The Great Sabbath, the 7th Day, when ALL Christians will cease from our labor on Earth and we will join Jesus for the Age of Joy which will never end because the 7th Day has no evening and no end.

    This explains WHY God used the Hebrew language since it shows that His blessing of this Day is FUTURE, since it is written in Hebrew ImPerfect Tense, which means that the action is not yet complete.

    Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. <<<<<<<End of Quote

    ********************************************************************************

    Dear Readers,

    The term "
    RESTED" Gen 2:3 in Hebrew is the word Shabath and it is in the Hebrew Imperfect Tense which means:

    Strong's online concordance:
    The imperfect expresses an action, process or condition which is incomplete.

    God's rest is incomplete according to the Tense of the Hebrew language. It will remain incomplete until He finishes His Creation. That's the way it is with a perfect God. He would Never rest from His "ALL" of His work until it is finished (made perfect) or He would NOT be the perfect God.

    IOW, we are still living at Gen 1:27 since God is still creating human kind in his image and likeness, even TODAY. The 6th Creative Day of God will NOT end until Jesus returns to this Planet and reigns for another thousand years. The end of the 6th Day is still in the FUTURE.

    The 7th Day - Gen 2:3 - has No Evening or Night there, thus, the 7th Day (Shabath) has No Ending and is describe as The Age of Joy which means Eternity.

    Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

    God Bless

    Note: The Sabbath was created for us, not for God himself, since, God does not grow tired or need rest every week like us humans. He rested (past tense) as an example to us (since, God sees the End from the Beginning - Isa 46:10) so that we would rest on the Shabath day, just as he did, ETERNALLY.

    Saying this does not make it true. Exodus 20:8-11, can be understood that seven days are days.

    Again, your understanding of the Scripture and the usage of the word "DAYS" in Gen 1&2 is very poor and shows lack of common sense, since, your argument is out of context to the issue at hand - Gen 1&2 - God's Creative Days.

    Incase you did not understand my quotes that you even provided in your so called refutation, let me again post the whole context of the issue at hand .... for your review, continued learning and education IF you try to read it very slowly.- see below....

    In truth, Genesis 1 is a description of a God's Plan for restauration of all things as it is written in Acts 3:v.18-24, whose things were destroyed times ago in the garden of Eden. Other interesting thing that calls attention is the fact that Moses received this revelation from the Most High and Almighty God around 2.500 years after Adam, precisely after passed two and half days of the seven days of God's creation. (One Day with the Lord is as a thousand years and vice-versa, as is revealed by Moses in his pray (Psa.90:v.4) and 2Peter 3:v.8.)

    Psalms 90:v.12-13&16
    v.12 Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
    13 Return, O Lord, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.
    16 Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.

    Based on God's six days of creation and one day of rest (a total of seven days or seven millenniums - 7000 years) plus the Scriptures that teach that one Day is with the Lord as a thousand years (Psalm 90:4; II Pet. 3:8; Heb. 4:4), then the mankind will go through six God days of 1,000 years each (a total of 6,000 years) plus a Millennium of 1,000 years rest (now a total of 7,000 years).

    In accord the Holy Scriptures, we can number our days, beginning in Genesis chap.5, so we have a table of biblical times, as follow:
    Adam lived ….................................................130 yrs and begat Seth
    Seth lived .......................................................105 yrs and begat Enosh;
    Enosh lived ..................................................... 90 yrs and begat Kenan;
    Kenan lived......................................................70 yrs and begat Mahalalel;
    Mahalalel lived ................................................65 yrs and begat Jared;
    Jared lived .....................................................162 yrs and begat Enoch;
    Enoch lived .....................................................65 yrs and begat Methuselah;
    Methuselah lived............................................187 yrs and begat Lamech;
    Lamech lived .................................................182 yrs and begat Noah;
    From Noah´s birth until the Flood..................600 yrs.
    Total of yrs from Adam to the Flood =........ 1,656 yrs.

    I am working with the Word of God. Notice that the table above is proved by the Word of God (Gen.5), it is not of human theories or human speculations. Let us study the times until our days not by human theories and speculations, but by the Word of God. See this table below:

    PERIODS OF BIBLICAL TIMES ----------------------- DURATION

    I - From Adam until the Flood------------------------------1,656 years (as was showed above)
    II - From the Flood until Abraham-------------------------- 427 years
    III - From Abraham until Exodus---------------------------. 430 years (Gal.3:v.17)
    IV - From Exodus until king Saul -------------------------- 396 years
    V - From Saul until the fall of Jerusalem ---------------- 508 years
    VI - From the fall of Jerusalem until Jesus -------------.587 years
    Thus, from Adam until the 1st coming of Jesus---- 4,004 years
    From Jesus until our days (Christian Calendar) --- 2,019 years
    Total from Adam until our days --------------------------6,023 years

    Jesus, the Great Light (Gen.1:16) came in the fourth Day of God's week or around 4.000 years after the creation of the first Adam, the earthly Adam. From JESUS (fourth Day) until our days, have passed more two Days of the seven days creation, totalizing 6 complete Days or six milleniums, around 6.000 years, more precisely 6.023 years according Christian calendar.

    We have entered in the first century of this seventh and last millennium, or seventh and last Day, that is the Great Sabbath. We are living in the first century of the seventh and last millennium, the millennium of Christ, the Lord's Day, the Millennium of Truth, the Day of Vengeance, and the Day of Judgment. And our Almighty God the Father entered in His rest, as He had planned in the beginning of His works, but He is not sleeping of course, and JESUS assumes the control or the government of the Universe.

    JESUS is now sat on His Tribunal, the Judgment Seat of Christ, to Judge all nations, taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not His gospel, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power.

    The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever. (Rev.11:15)

    Return, O Lord, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants. Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. Amen.

    Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them.
    Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the Devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

    Matt. 25:v.6-7
    6 And at midnight* there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
    7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

    *On God's watch, midnight is zero hour between the end of a millennium, and beginning of the next millennium

    Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

    The word finished in Hebrew means brought to perfection since that is HOW God's work always ends. Notice also that ALL the host of Heaven (including the last sinner to be saved) are present in Heaven at this time.

    Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from
    ALL his work which he had made.
    v3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from
    ALL his work which God created and made.

    You (Oseas) said that Gen 2:3 is in the past. Yet, our Lord God, the Son, came to Earth some 2k years ago, and told us the exact opposite of your flawed traditional religious view that your are spouting over and over again (even on the other website) .... for He said the following below, the time He was being sought to be killed by the Jews for working on the ALLEGED "sabbath day":

    Jhn 5:16 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
    v17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.

    Hitherto in Greek means up to the present time. Jesus is saying that the Father and He are working at the time Jesus was on the Earth.

    The imperfect tense of the Hebrew verb shows that God's work of Creating continues Today. EVERY Gospel preacher agrees and tells us that it is NOT too late to be born again Spiritually.

    The present 6th Day IS the Day of Salvation.

    2Co 6:2 (For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured (helped) thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, NOW is the day of salvation.)

    The Holy Spirit, the Son, and the Father are STILL working today to create sinners in Christ Spiritually. Amen?

    Now, continue to study and realize that I am edifying The Great Sabbath, the 7th Day, when ALL Christians will cease from our labor on Earth and we will join Jesus for the Age of Joy which will never end because the 7th Day (Gen 2:3) has no evening and no end.

    Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

    Amen?

    Another misunderstanding of Genesis by Oseas: Here's why... see below...

    Without YHWH or Jesus, the Son, was Not anything made that was made, because Everything Physical was formed - as a potter would mold a clay - by the Physical Hands of the Only God, the Only Image, the Only Begotten Son of the Invisible Spirit of God.

    Gen. 1:6-8 shows that the Firmament or Heaven, as God calls it in Gen. 1:8 was formed on the 2nd Day.

    The narrative of Gen. 1:1-2 is speaking of the period BEFORE the 1st Day
    .

    This is what Jesus said when He was praying to His Father at the Garden of Gethsemane:

    And now, O Father, glorify thou Me with Thine Own Self
    with the Glory which I had with Thee BEFORE the world was." John 17:5

    Glory is Brightness, a physical trait. Jesus is reminding His Invisible God Father about the Brightness of his Glory that He provided BEFORE the world was (Gen 1:3).... BEFORE the Making of our physical Worlds.

    If one believes that In the beginning God created the Heavens (Plural) BEFORE the 1st Day, then the Words of Jesus would seem to be in error.

    If one believes that the 1st Firmament or Heaven was formed on the 2nd Day, then it would agree with Jesus, and would show that Jesus came into the World Before the 1st Heaven was formed....BEFORE the world was.

    Ok. If that is true about me, why does that not make you to be some kind of a moron? I have been a Christian over 56 years. As a new Christian I took Genesis use of days as a day age view, ". . . These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, . . ." Genesis 2:4, being interpreated, that the whole week was being called a day. (Also having 2 Peter 3:8 in mind. ) Using any kind of ad hominem attach is a cheap shot. (Romans 2:1 can apply to both of us.)
